The EU-Startups Summit 2023 is scheduled to take place on April 20-21, and it will bring together more than 2,000 individuals, including founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, and media representatives from different parts of Europe. The venue for the event is the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona, situated in the center of Barcelona.
In addition to providing a unique networking opportunity through a dedicated app, the event serves as a meeting point for aspiring entrepreneurs and investors looking to build international tech companies.
An exciting pitch competition featuring some of Europe's most promising startup teams will take place on the main stage and fireside chats with globally successful founders. A total of 1,500 applicants were considered in selecting the chosen teams.
The exhibition hall at this year's EU-Startups Summit will host more than 75 innovative companies. In addition, 15 of Europe's most promising early-stage startups will compete in a major pitch competition. In a 3-minute presentation, these pre-selected startups will showcase their business ideas to both attendees, and a panel of expert judges made up of renowned investors. In addition to significant international exposure and numerous new investor contacts, the winning startup will receive a fantastic prize package that will help the company grow to the next level.
