START Summit 2023 – Where Potential and Innovation Meet Opportunities

Olma Halls will host the START event between the 23rd-24th of March

From the 23rd of March until the 24th, START summit 2023, a conference organized by students, will take place in Olma Halls in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The exceptional event will welcome more than 4000 startups, founders, investors, and innovators.

Following the success of previous events, this year’s summit will encourage once again innovation and collaboration among small companies with enormous innovative potential and outstanding visions. The topic of the 2023 START summit is Reaching for Resilience and is deeply focused on three subtopics: Dare to Succeed, Embrace Failure, and Reach for Resilience.

The last year’s START event was enriched by the innovative ideas of more than 100 speakers from over 83 nations. The summit brings together corporates, investors, students, and founders, providing an open scene for networking, experience exchange, and job opportunities.

Among this year’s speakers at the START summit are Esther Wojcicki, considered the godmother of Silicon Valley, Severin Hacker, the co-founder and CTO of Duolingo, and Tina Müller, industry expert and member of the supervisory board at Douglas.

On Thursday evening, the student-led conference will feature an exciting Pub Crawl to allow attendees to explore St. Gallen's nightlife and socialize. Visitors can expect to visit some of the city's top bars and enjoy drinks, snacks, and good company. Additionally, START Summit 2023 will offer a variety of Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, reflecting one of the 21st-century popular technology trends. The event will also include the final round of START Hack, a 36-hour hackathon where teams of hackers will develop real-world solutions.
