FirmPilot has closed a $22M Series A-1 funding round, bringing its total raised to $27.25M. The round was oversubscribed and led by DeepWork Capital, with a significant investment from Data Point Capital. Existing backers also participated, including Blumberg Capital, Thomson Reuters Ventures, Valor Ventures, SaaS Ventures, and EarlyLight Ventures. As part of the deal, Ken Hall, a Partner at DeepWork Capital, will join FirmPilot's Board of Directors.
The oversubscription signals strong investor confidence in a company that has grown quickly since its founding. FirmPilot is building AI infrastructure specifically designed for legal marketing, a space that has seen little technological innovation despite the sheer size and digital activity of the U.S. legal market.
Every hour, more than 1,000 people in the United States search online for legal help. Yet 75% of them never scroll past the first page of results. For the 425,000-plus law firms competing for that visibility, the traditional playbook has meant hiring agencies, spending on ads without clear accountability, and relying on instinct rather than data. The result is expensive, difficult to measure, and poorly suited to how legal professionals actually work.
FirmPilot's case is that this model is broken and replaceable. Its platform uses proprietary AI to handle what agencies used to do manually, from SEO and content creation to paid ads and competitor monitoring. The AI knowledge model has processed more than 5 million pieces of legal marketing content and draws from a database of over 3,000 relevant legal cases. Clients report case volume increases of 180% or more, and the platform's content ranks in both traditional search engines and AI-driven tools like ChatGPT.
"Law firm owners aren't just practicing law anymore, they're building companies. And the firms that will win over the next decade are the ones making the shift from gut-feeling marketing to data-driven, AI-powered growth. This round gives us the fuel to help more firms make that transition and to continue building the platform that replaces the traditional agency model entirely." — Jake Soffer, Founder & CEO, FirmPilot.
FirmPilot will direct the new funding toward two major product investments. The first is a next-generation AI model, ten times larger than its current version in terms of training data, expected to roll out to all clients by Q3 2026. The upgrade promises deeper content generation, smarter marketing recommendations, and faster results for law firms at every size.
The second initiative is a set of direct integrations with leading legal case management software. By pulling in case value data, FirmPilot's AI agents will be able to connect marketing spend directly to case outcomes for the first time. The practical result is a revenue operations command center for law firms — one that makes clear not just how many leads a campaign generated, but how much those leads were actually worth.
FirmPilot was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida. The company's patent-pending AI Legal Marketing Engine sits at the center of everything it offers. Jake Soffer serves as Founder and CEO.
The platform operates as an all-in-one solution covering AI-driven SEO and GEO (AI search optimization), PPC and Google Ads management, local SEO, digital PR and link building, social media, and website optimization. A feature called competitive blueprinting gives law firms an analytical view of their competitors' digital marketing activity, identifying where growth opportunities exist. From there, FirmPilot's AI agents take over time-intensive tasks like 24/7 competitor monitoring and content calibration, with real-time dashboards providing full transparency into ROI.
Since launching, FirmPilot has generated tens of thousands of qualified leads for U.S. law firms. The platform's ability to produce content that ranks in both traditional and AI-powered search environments gives it a differentiated position in a market where most marketing tools were built before AI search became a mainstream behavior.
FirmPilot serves law firms and services-based small and medium businesses, backing its AI with a growing body of legal domain data that competitors cannot easily replicate.
DeepWork Capital, which led this round, is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 2015, the firm focuses on tech-forward founders addressing significant problems in technology and life sciences, with particular attention to underserved venture markets.
"FirmPilot is solving a massive problem for a market that has been drastically underserved by technology. Jake and his team have built a product that delivers measurable, data-driven results for law firms, replacing an entire industry of manual marketing agencies with an intelligent platform. The combination of proprietary legal domain data, AI automation, and clear client ROI is exactly what we look for at DeepWork. We're thrilled to lead this round and join the board as FirmPilot enters its next phase of growth." — Ken Hall, Partner, DeepWork Capital.
Data Point Capital also made a significant investment in this round. The firm focuses on highly scalable, capital-efficient technology companies across consumer internet, enterprise software, and AI. Its partners have collectively created over $50 billion in market value through companies they founded or operated. Notable portfolio companies include DraftKings and Rent the Runway.
"We've been tracking the legal marketing space closely, and FirmPilot stood out immediately. Jake and his team have built a genuinely differentiated platform, one that combines proprietary legal domain data with AI automation to deliver measurable client acquisition results. The opportunity to displace a fragmented, agency-driven market with an intelligent, scalable platform is exactly what we invest in at Data Point Capital. We're excited to partner with this team." — Scott Savitz, Founder & Managing Partner, Data Point Capital.
