Euclid Power closed a $20 million Series A funding round led by Venrock, bringing fresh capital to accelerate its AI-powered platform for renewable energy development. The round included participation from HSBC Asset Management alongside existing investors Spero Ventures, Toba Capital, Designer Fund, and Commonweal Ventures.
The timing couldn't be better. America faces an energy crunch as AI data centers and electrification drive unprecedented power demand, while new federal compliance rules threaten to slow renewable deployment when speed matters most.
The United States confronts an energy challenge unlike any before. Electricity demand is projected to jump 25 percent by 2030, driven by AI data center expansion, manufacturing revival, and transportation electrification. Utilities are scrambling to find enough power for an already strained grid.
Renewable energy offers the fastest, cheapest path forward. Despite regulatory headwinds, renewables are set to deliver 93 percent of new power capacity this year. But the industry needs better tools to move projects through increasingly complex approval processes.
Euclid plans to use the Series A funding to accelerate its AI-enabled workflows and expand its product offerings. The company will also strengthen its services team to handle growing market demand for faster project execution.
The investment comes as renewable energy developers face mounting pressure to navigate regulatory complexity while maintaining project quality and speed. Euclid's platform addresses this challenge by transforming scattered documentation into actionable intelligence.
Jacob Sandry, Ryan Guay, and Brian DeMaio founded Euclid Power in 2021, bringing decades of energy industry experience to the table. The three co-founders recognized that renewable energy teams needed better tools to manage increasingly complex projects and regulatory requirements.
Today, Euclid operates as the industry's go-to platform, embedded in over 1,000 solar and storage projects nationwide. The company helps developers, investors, and asset owners reduce due diligence timelines from months to days while maintaining precision and compliance.
Major clients including UBS, Catalyze, and Apollo Global Management rely on Euclid to identify risks early, maintain audit-ready documentation, and close deals faster. The platform serves as a single source of truth, automatically tagging documents and extracting critical data points like cost lines, deadlines, and risk indicators.
Since launch, Euclid has supported over 12 gigawatts of solar and storage capacity and facilitated more than $10 billion in renewable energy investments. Clients report cutting transaction timelines by up to 60 percent while staying ahead of regulatory requirements.
"Euclid has transformed our ability to execute deals," said Stephen Owen, Senior Vice President at Catalyze. "What once took weeks of manual document chasing now happens in days — accurately, transparently, and with the right people aligned from the start."
The company doubled its enterprise client base in the first quarter alone, reflecting growing demand for tools that can handle regulatory friction and market uncertainty. Euclid's disciplined workflows, refined across more than 1,000 projects, help teams identify opportunities and risks when timing is critical.
Venrock led the round based on Euclid's unique position in the market and the team's deep industry expertise. The venture capital firm sees significant potential in Euclid's approach to streamlining renewable energy development.
"What makes Euclid exciting is how their team has transformed renewable energy project management. In a market where developers face increasingly complex compliance requirements, customers actively prefer paying Euclid to handle critical workflows rather than just accessing tools," said Ethan Batraski, Partner at Venrock. "The Euclid team brings decades of experience in the industry, with a vision to unlock gigawatts of new energy resources by fundamentally changing how deals get done."
HSBC Asset Management's participation reflects growing institutional interest in companies addressing critical infrastructure challenges. The investor lineup demonstrates confidence in Euclid's ability to scale alongside America's renewable energy buildout.
CEO Jacob Sandry emphasized the urgency driving Euclid's mission as the company prepares to scale operations with new funding.
"With this round, we're scaling to meet the urgency of the clean energy transition," said Jacob Sandry, CEO of Euclid. "Our customers are navigating regulatory friction and market uncertainty every day to supply power that people desperately need. We help them move through that complexity faster, with the precision their projects demand."
