San Ramon-based AiDEN Auto has successfully closed a $4.2 million oversubscribed Seed funding round, bringing its total funding to $6.1 million. Led by Nuri Venture Partners, the round also saw participation from Tengro Ventures, Band of Angels, Mentors Fund, Start Equity Ventures, Conxcity, and Weltham Capital, along with a group of seasoned angel investors and family offices. AiDEN’s earlier angel round included backing from IF Insurance and Silicon Valley investors.
Connected vehicle technology has long struggled with balancing innovation and data privacy, often leaving drivers with little control over their personal data. AiDEN Auto aims to change that by offering a no-code application framework that allows automakers (OEMs) to scale in-vehicle services while maintaining strict data transparency and consumer consent.
“We are proud to double down on our support for AiDEN Auto as they lead a transformative shift in connected vehicle technology,” said Kevin Yang, Managing Partner at Nuri Venture Partners. “Unlike others who have struggled to balance innovation with privacy, AiDEN is proving that it can be done—and done at scale.”
The fresh funding will enable AiDEN to expand its privacy-first platform, enhance its in-vehicle service offerings, and strengthen collaborations with OEMs. AiDEN’s platform moves beyond traditional feature monetization—such as charging for heated seats or advanced cruise control—and focuses instead on service monetization.
With the new investment, AiDEN plans to:
“The key to unlocking the promise of connected vehicles is to deliver the multitude of services that users want and expect, with the driver’s full knowledge and consent,” said Niclas Gyllenram, CEO of AiDEN Auto.
AiDEN’s focus on privacy-first connected vehicle solutions has led to strategic collaborations, including a partnership with HERE Technologies to integrate real-time traffic and road condition alerts directly into vehicles. This system considers factors like weight limits, speed, and hazardous conditions to provide timely, distraction-free alerts.
“HERE Technologies is proud to partner with AiDEN Automotive to redefine the in-car experience,” said Gino Ferru, SVP and General Manager EMEA at HERE Technologies.
Other key partnerships include Volvo Trucks CampX, Conxcity, MAVI, Treads, and HAAS, reinforcing AiDEN’s commitment to developing a connected vehicle ecosystem built on trust and transparency.
