TensorWave has secured $100 million in Series A funding, with Magnetar and AMD Ventures co-leading the round. The raise also saw continued participation from Maverick Silicon and Nexus Venture Partners, along with new investor Prosperity7. The funding builds on TensorWave’s previous SAFE round and arrives at a critical point as demand for high-performance AI compute infrastructure accelerates.
The investment supports the deployment of a dedicated GPU training cluster, featuring over 8,000 AMD Instinct MI325X GPUs. This large-scale build-out positions TensorWave as a major contender in the AI infrastructure space. The company is projected to close 2025 with a revenue run rate surpassing $100 million—a 20x year-over-year increase.
The AI infrastructure market is expanding rapidly, with forecasts estimating it could surpass $400 billion by 2027. As many companies face bottlenecks in accessing advanced compute power, TensorWave is stepping in to provide reliable, enterprise-ready alternatives built on AMD architecture.
“TensorWave is a key player in the growing AMD AI ecosystem,” said Mathew Hein, SVP Chief Strategy Officer & Corporate Development at AMD. “Their expanding portfolio of AI and enterprise customers coupled with their expertise in deploying AMD compute infrastructure is driving demand for access to their cutting-edge AI compute services.”
The new capital will accelerate TensorWave’s operational scale-up, hiring, and the rollout of its Instinct MI325X GPU-powered training cluster. These resources are designed to meet the needs of organizations training increasingly large and complex models.
“The $100 million we've secured will transform how enterprises access AI computing resources,” said Piotr Tomasik, President of TensorWave. “This isn’t just about adding capacity—it’s about offering a new class of infrastructure built specifically for next-gen model performance and reliability.”
The company also aims to expand its ecosystem of partners and customers, further solidifying its role in addressing the global AI compute shortage.
Founded to solve the growing mismatch between AI model complexity and available infrastructure, TensorWave offers a cloud environment tailored to performance-first workloads. It’s powered exclusively by AMD’s high-bandwidth, memory-optimized Instinct Series GPUs.
“Our 8,192 Instinct MI325X GPU cluster marks just the beginning,” said CEO Darrick Horton. “We’re establishing ourselves as the AMD-powered leader in the fast-growing AI infrastructure market.”
Jeff Tatarchuk, TensorWave’s Chief Growth Officer, added: “Our focus is to continue to expand the ecosystem and support developers with the tools, infrastructure, and performance they need to create, scale, and ship production-ready AI.”
In addition to Magnetar and AMD Ventures, the round was supported by returning investors Maverick Silicon and Nexus Venture Partners, as well as Prosperity7, marking its first investment in the company. The combination of institutional and strategic backers reflects growing confidence in TensorWave’s long-term role in the AI ecosystem.
“We continue to be highly impressed by what the TensorWave team has built in just a short period of time,” said Kenneth Safar, Managing Director at Maverick Silicon. “They’re not just bringing more compute—they’re offering an entirely new class of compute to a capacity-constrained market.”
TensorWave’s focus on performance-driven infrastructure and rapid growth trajectory suggests it will remain a critical enabler for AI companies scaling at speed.
