Blee, a New York company that uses AI to help businesses review marketing content, has raised new funding as companies produce more material with automated tools. Founded by CEO Guy Shahar, Blee focuses on helping legal, compliance, and brand teams check content before and after it reaches the public. The company is addressing a growing review problem inside large organizations.
The amount of marketing work handled by AI is expected to increase quickly. According to Gartner research published in May 2026, marketing leaders expect AI driven automation to account for 36% of their work by 2028, up from 16% in 2026. A separate Gartner survey found that CMOs are allocating an average of 15.3% of marketing budgets to AI initiatives, although only 30% said their organizations were mature enough to scale those capabilities. More automated content means more material moving through internal review.
Blee has raised a $20 million Series A co led by Fin Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund. Hannah Grey VC and National Bank of Canada also participated, while Y Combinator, Penny Jar Capital, Cardumen Capital, and Treasury continued their backing. The round takes Blee's total funding to $27 million.
Marketing teams can now produce advertisements, videos, social posts, affiliate materials, and other content at much higher speed. Legal and compliance teams still need to check that material against regulations, company policies, and brand rules before it reaches customers. That review work can become a bottleneck.
Blee adds AI to that process. Its software works alongside the content tools marketing teams already use and gives feedback on regulatory, legal, compliance, and brand requirements before material reaches formal review. The company says legal and compliance teams using the platform have reduced average review times by up to 65%.
The system also keeps working after content goes live. It can monitor websites and influencers' social media activity for possible regulatory or brand issues, while recording submissions, approvals, comments, and other steps in the review process. This creates an audit trail showing how content was handled over time.
“Every legal operations leader I know is being asked the same thing: do more with less, and faster. It's hard to do through process design alone. The velocity of the business has outrun manual review. AI-enabled compliance is what turns oversight from an aspiration into an evidenced, continuous control environment.” — Mike Russell, Head of Global Legal Operations at Expedia Group
Blee plans to use the new capital to expand its product across the full content lifecycle. That includes improving the way the platform supports teams before publication and how it monitors content after publication. The company also plans geographic expansion.
Its current customers operate across financial services, travel, life sciences, and consumer brands. Blee is expanding its work with large organizations in North America and Europe while preparing to enter additional industries and regions.
Another part of the plan is commercial expansion. The company wants to reach more legal, compliance, marketing, and brand leaders at large organizations where content review is still handled largely through manual processes.
“By giving marketing teams the capabilities they need to resolve friction between departments, Blee helps organizations scale content creation while maintaining appropriate governance. We believe these capabilities will be increasingly valuable to organizations across their global operations, including the clients we serve today and in the future.” — Hiroaki Yoshikawa, General Manager of SMBC’s Digital Strategy Department
Founded in 2022, Blee describes its product as an AI first marketing compliance platform. In practical terms, the software checks marketing, product, and sales materials for possible compliance problems before they are published and continues monitoring some content afterward. The goal is to support the review process.
The platform brings regulatory requirements, internal policies, and brand standards into one system. Its AI can identify possible issues while content is being prepared, allowing legal and compliance teams to see which material may need closer attention. It also supports submissions, approvals, comments, and audit records without requiring companies to replace their existing content creation tools.
Blee says dozens of Fortune 500 enterprises use its software, and SoFi Technologies is among its customers. The company also reported that annual recurring revenue increased tenfold between June 2025 and June 2026. More enterprise customer announcements are planned in the coming months.
“Marketing teams are producing more content, across more channels, faster than ever, and legal and compliance teams are still expected to review all of it manually, with tools that weren't built for the job. Whether it's video campaigns, affiliate content, or digital ads, the volume will only grow as AI agents automate creation. The companies that set up their content governance layer now are going to be in a very different position than the ones that wait.” — Guy Shahar, Founder and CEO of Blee
The Series A brings Blee's total funding to $27 million. The company did not provide details about the size or timing of its earlier funding rounds in the announcement. It did identify Cardumen Capital as its first institutional investor.
Fin Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund co led the latest round. Participants also included Hannah Grey VC and National Bank of Canada, while Y Combinator, Penny Jar Capital, Cardumen Capital, and Treasury continued their backing.
“We've been watching the problem of content growth for enterprise marketing teams across industries and within our network for years. Blee is the first platform we've seen that's actually built for the scale of it.” — Matthew Mann, General Partner, Fin Capital
