Cassidy, the context-powered AI automation platform, has secured $10 million in Series A funding led by HOF Capital. The General Partnership, Neo, Alumni Ventures, Quest Venture Partners and other investors also participated in the round, bringing the company's total funding to $14 million.
The New York-based startup enables non-technical business users to build AI workflows and agents without writing code. These automations handle complex processes like customer support triage, CRM updates from sales calls, and instant knowledge-sharing in Slack.
The enterprise AI market has struggled with adoption beyond pilot programs. Many companies invest in AI initiatives but see limited company-wide results. Cassidy addresses this by putting automation tools directly into the hands of domain experts rather than requiring technical teams to build every workflow.
"From the start, our thesis has been simple: when the people closest to the work become the builders, automation reflects the reality of the process and adoption spreads quickly across organizations," said Justin Fineberg, co-founder and CEO of Cassidy. "Our mission is to turn every team into a high-leverage operator and it is working."
The new capital will fund platform development and team expansion as Cassidy helps more enterprises access their institutional knowledge through automation. The company has seen rapid adoption within customer organizations, often expanding from single workflows to company-wide implementation within months.
Cassidy plans to add more enterprise features and grow its engineering and customer success teams. The funding will also support market expansion as demand grows for accessible AI automation tools.
Founded in New York, Cassidy serves companies including Justworks, Multiverse, and NTT Data. The platform combines enterprise knowledge, real-time data, and large language models to automate processes that traditional SaaS tools cannot handle.
Philippe Jardin, Vice President of Innovation, Solutions and Services at NTT Data, explained their experience: "We're building automations across the business from RFP automation that knows our brand voice and how we like to respond, to prospecting that researches and scores leads based on our ideal customer profile, to reference finders that instantly surface the right client stories and case studies. Cassidy understands our processes and priorities like no other tool could replicate."
The platform has demonstrated strong retention and expansion metrics. In their first six months, average enterprise customers see adoption expand 3x and usage increase 12x. This growth stems from Cassidy's approach of empowering end users to create their own automations rather than relying on top-down IT implementations.
HOF Capital led the Series A round after observing Cassidy's land-and-expand model with enterprise customers. The investment reflects growing confidence in platforms that democratize AI automation capabilities.
"AI in the enterprise has been stuck in pilots for too long and the land and expand model that Cassidy is experiencing has been tremendous," said Hansae Catlett, Partner at HOF Capital. "Justin and his team are putting knowledge workers in control of automation and it is driving rapid adoption and real business outcomes."
The company's approach addresses a key market need as organizations seek practical AI implementations that deliver measurable returns on investment.
