Classiq has closed a $110 million Series C round, marking the largest-ever funding round for a quantum software company. The round was led by Entrée Capital, joined by Norwest, NightDragon, Hamilton Lane, Clal, Neva SGR, Phoenix, Team8, IN Venture, Wing, HSBC, Samsung Next, QBeat, and a mix of returning and new investors.
This new capital brings Classiq’s total funding to $173 million. The company plans to scale up its R&D, go-to-market operations, and customer success teams to meet increasing demand across the global quantum computing landscape.
Quantum computing is fast transitioning from research labs to real-world commercial use. Classiq, founded in 2020, is helping drive this shift with its enterprise-grade platform designed to build scalable quantum programs. The company has tripled its customer base and revenue year-over-year, with adoption across Fortune 500 enterprises and academic institutions alike.
Its customers include BMW, Citi, Deloitte, Rolls-Royce, Mizuho, and Toshiba. Classiq also collaborates with major cloud providers and chipmakers such as Microsoft, AWS, NVIDIA, IBM, IonQ, and Rigetti.
“We are building the Microsoft of quantum computing,” said Nir Minerbi, CEO and Co-founder of Classiq. “In this new era of computing, Classiq is delivering the essential software stack to empower the development of real-world quantum applications.”
The new funding will help Classiq expand its global presence, supporting its involvement in national quantum initiatives and strategic projects. The company also aims to accelerate its developer onboarding process and broaden compatibility with quantum hardware providers and simulators.
Its platform enables users—from engineers to data scientists—to create quantum applications without requiring deep technical knowledge. It includes features like automated algorithm development, high-level functional modeling, and cloud-based deployment across providers like AWS Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum, and Google Cloud.
Classiq’s team includes a mix of quantum researchers and enterprise software veterans. Their combined experience spans quantum physics, chip design, software engineering, and compiler technologies. This expertise supports Classiq’s mission to build production-ready quantum applications.
The company has also built a strong intellectual property portfolio, with more than 60 patents filed and a 100% acceptance rate. This underscores its leadership in quantum modeling and circuit compilation technologies.
Entrée Capital’s Managing Partner Avi Eyal said, “Quantum computing is advancing at a rapid pace, and Classiq has emerged as the clear leader in the quantum software category. We’re proud to support the team as they continue to build the operating system and compiler for all quantum computers.”
Other investors include HSBC, Samsung Next, QBeat, Wing, IN Venture, Team8, Phoenix, Neva SGR, Clal, Hamilton Lane, NightDragon, and Norwest, with many participating in earlier rounds. Their continued support reflects growing confidence in Classiq’s role as a key enabler in the quantum ecosystem.
