Climatiq, a leading provider of embedded carbon emissions data solutions, announced today it has secured €10 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Alstin Capital, with participation from existing investors Singular and Cherry Ventures. The latest investment will support Climatiq in advancing its mission to place carbon emissions intelligence at the heart of global business operations.
The company, recently recognized by Sifted as the fastest-growing climate tech startup in DACH and CEE, has established itself as an essential provider of integrated carbon intelligence, helping organizations embed accurate emissions insights directly into their existing software systems.
Amid growing regulatory pressures and increasing customer expectations for transparent sustainability practices, Climatiq is positioned at the forefront of the carbon intelligence market.
Alexander Meyer-Scharenberg, Principal at Alstin Capital, emphasized, "CO₂ emissions have long been a real cost factor for companies due to regulation, internal carbon pricing, or customer pressure. Effective emissions management requires reliable data, scalable calculation methodologies, and the accurate attribution of emissions to business processes. Even with that in place, they need to be visible to every decision-maker in an organization. With its comprehensive database and AI-based emission factor matching and API-integration tools, Climatiq is in the leading position to become the central infrastructure provider for emissions data."
Climatiq plans to use the newly raised funds to accelerate product development, enhance its emissions database, and strengthen go-to-market capabilities. Key innovations include the expansion of "Autopilot," Climatiq's AI-powered engine designed to simplify the mapping of business data to emission factors, making emissions measurement quicker and more accurate.
Additionally, Climatiq aims to expand its ecosystem of integrations, collaborating more closely with partners to embed carbon intelligence into their platforms. This move will further empower businesses of all sizes to adopt and operationalize sustainability practices seamlessly.
Founded four years ago, Climatiq quickly gained traction by serving over 200 B2B software customers, facilitating more than one billion carbon calculations in the past year alone. These calculations represent around 200 million metric tons of CO₂ emissions analyzed through Climatiq's APIs.
Climatiq's innovative approach, which integrates emissions metrics directly into commonly used enterprise software, helps businesses transform carbon tracking from isolated sustainability reports into actionable, everyday decision-making tools.
Notably, Climatiq supports prominent enterprise software providers such as IFS, Epicor, and Onestream, alongside leading supply chain platforms including Celonis, Kinaxis, and BlueYonder. Global technology giants Salesforce, AWS, and Oracle also utilize Climatiq's solutions, highlighting broad industry acceptance and demand.
This Series A funding further solidifies Climatiq's collaboration with key investors Alstin Capital, Singular, and Cherry Ventures. The combined backing from these investors underscores strong market confidence in Climatiq's strategic direction and future growth.
Climatiq’s vision aligns with the current trend of businesses increasingly viewing carbon tracking as essential, paralleling how data security evolved from a niche concern to a core operational necessity. With carbon tracking now included in 90% of enterprise requests for proposals, sustainability metrics are swiftly becoming mandatory business benchmarks.
