Dashmote has closed a $6 million Series A1 funding round to accelerate development of its first AI agent for field sales. The round was co-led by Blossom Street Ventures, a U.S.-based venture capital firm, and Rabobank, one of Europe's major financial institutions in the food and agriculture sector.

The Amsterdam-based company has now raised $14 million across all funding rounds. This latest capital will fuel development of DashSalesAI, expand Dashmote's presence in the United States, and support team growth across its offices in Amsterdam, New York, and Shanghai.

Why Field Sales Teams Need Better Tools

Field sales professionals have long been overlooked by automation advances, despite driving significant revenue for global companies. Unlike office-based sales teams with access to sophisticated CRM tools and desktop software, reps working in the field often rely on basic mobile apps and manual processes.

"Field sales have been underserved by advances in automation, despite representing one of the largest and most critical revenue engines for global companies," said Sammy Abdullah, Managing Partner, Blossom Street Ventures. "Dashmote is pioneering a new category by arming reps in the field with real-time intelligence and autonomous support, fundamentally changing how deals are sourced and closed. With its proven traction and unique data advantage, we see Dashmote as a company positioned to reshape field sales at scale."

Building an AI Assistant for Reps on the Move

DashSalesAI represents a major shift for Dashmote's platform. The company is moving from delivering insights to automating entire sales workflows. Built on advances in large language models, the AI agent acts as a virtual sales assistant that handles lead generation, outreach, and account management.

The tool integrates into mobile-first platforms like WhatsApp and Dashmote's location analytics system. Reps can receive lead suggestions, client summaries, and talking points through natural chat interfaces. This allows sales teams to prospect more effectively, manage accounts without switching apps, and close deals faster.

"Unlike traditional office chatbots, DashSalesAI is built for the realities of field sales," said Dennis Tan, Co-founder and CEO, Dashmote. "We designed it to understand the rhythm of a rep's day in the field, from planning morning routes to capturing insights after the last meeting. By leveraging LLMs to take on time-consuming tasks such as drafting outreach, researching venues, and logging visits, DashSalesAI allows reps to focus on what matters most: strengthening customer relationships and accelerating revenue."

Leveraging One of the World's Largest Venue Databases

DashSalesAI draws on Dashmote's proprietary database, which captures information on millions of venues globally. The dataset aggregates data from food delivery platforms, e-commerce sites, social media, and mapping services. This raw data is transformed into actionable intelligence that goes beyond basic analytics.

The system surfaces venue-level profiles and market trends. It also recommends targeted outreach strategies tailored to each opportunity. This progression from analytics to autonomous assistance marks an important milestone in Dashmote's product roadmap.

Early Adoption by Major Brands

Dashmote's clients include global beverage and consumer goods companies such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and AB InBev. These brands have already begun integrating DashSalesAI into their sales workflows. Field reps use the agent to discover nearby leads in real time, receive daily briefings, and draft messages while on the go.

Initial user feedback has been positive. Reps describe DashSalesAI as a reliable junior sales assistant that's always available. The tool handles routine tasks so reps can focus on building customer relationships.

Expanding Beyond Food and Beverage

While Dashmote established its foundation in the food and beverage sector, DashSalesAI's capabilities extend to other industries. The agent's ability to deliver real-time intelligence and on-the-go decision support makes it valuable for medical device reps, pharmaceutical sales teams, and real estate agents. Any professional who relies on face-to-face interactions in the field can benefit.

E-commerce and digital sales teams are also using Dashmote's AI agents to optimize online storefronts and execute hyper-localized strategies. This demonstrates the platform's relevance across both physical and digital sales channels.

About Dashmote

Founded in 2015 in Amsterdam, Dashmote is an AI technology company that transforms unstructured data into actionable insights for sales, strategy, and marketing teams. The platform was originally built for the food and beverage sector, gathering data from food delivery platforms and map services to help businesses discover growth opportunities, optimize digital channels, and scale their presence.

The company's clients include AB InBev, Coca-Cola, and Nestlé, who use the platform's insights and automation to boost sales efficiency and strategic execution. Dashmote currently operates across more than 50 countries. McKinsey and Google recognized the company as the Best B2B Startup in their Digital Top 50 awards.

Investor Backing and Market Position

Dashmote is backed by investors from the U.S. and Asia, with this latest round co-led by Blossom Street Ventures and Rabobank. The company's combination of proprietary data, AI capabilities, and proven traction with major brands positions it to scale field sales automation across multiple industries.
