Elliptic, a London-based blockchain analytics company, has closed a $120 million Series D funding round led by One Peak, valuing the business at $670 million. The company provides compliance and risk management tools to banks, crypto exchanges, fintech firms, and government agencies.
Stablecoins processed $33 trillion in transactions in 2025, up 72% from the previous year. That volume points to something significant: digital assets are no longer a niche corner of finance. They have become part of how money moves. The round was led by One Peak, with participation from Nasdaq Ventures, Deutsche Bank, and the British Business Bank. Existing investors AlbionVC, Evolution Equity Partners, and J.P. Morgan also took part.
Banks and exchanges are screening billions of dollars in digital asset transactions every day. The volume makes manual review impractical. Generic software often falls short. What financial institutions need is a system that can assess risk per transaction in real time, at scale, without driving up costs as volume grows.
Stablecoins are now used for corporate treasury operations, cross-border payments, and settlement between financial institutions. Tokenized assets are becoming a standard way for value to move through financial systems. Every transaction on these networks needs to be monitored for financial crime risk. That means checking activity across dozens of different blockchains simultaneously, continuously, and without missing a beat.
“The sustainable growth of digital assets depends on strong, institutional-grade risk and compliance foundations. For Deutsche Bank, these frameworks are critical to supporting the responsible development of the digital asset ecosystem and reinforcing trust as the market evolves. Our investment in Elliptic reflects our focus on strengthening these foundations,” said Sabih Behzad, Global Head of Digital Assets & Currencies Transformation, Deutsche Bank.
The funding will go toward expanding Elliptic's AI-native compliance work. In 2025, the company moved away from treating AI as a product feature and rebuilt its compliance operations around it as a core architecture. The new capital will extend that approach, with particular focus on stablecoins and tokenized assets moving through traditional financial institutions.
Two thirds of global crypto trading volume runs through exchanges that already use Elliptic's platform. As crypto assets move into mainstream finance, the company wants to follow that journey and provide compliance coverage at every stage. The stated goals include entering new markets and working with large banks and government bodies.
"One Peak invests in category leaders and the signal we trust most is what customers say. We spoke to leading institutions from across all segments of the market, and they spoke with one voice: Elliptic is the leader in digital asset compliance, built on the industry’s most robust proprietary data, and it’s that data advantage that makes their AI genuinely market leading. Elliptic is the essential infrastructure for how stablecoins and tokenized assets move through the global financial system. That customer verdict is what drove our investment." — Humbert de Liedekerke Beaufort, Founding Partner, One Peak.
Elliptic was founded in London in 2013 by a team with backgrounds in regulated financial institutions. The founders understood early that crypto would have to work within existing financial crime rules if it was to scale. They launched the first blockchain-based compliance tools in 2015. The company is now led by CEO Simone Maini and operates from offices in New York, Washington D.C., Miami, Dubai, Singapore, and Tokyo.
The platform monitors more than 65 blockchains and screens over one billion transactions each week for more than 700 customers across 30 countries. Its tools include wallet and transaction screening, entity due diligence, cross-chain investigation, stablecoin risk management, and an AI assistant that handles the first layer of alert review. Routine alerts are resolved in minutes. Analysts are brought in for the cases that genuinely require human judgment.
"Financial systems are being rebuilt on-chain," said Simone Maini, CEO of Elliptic. "The institutions leading that transition need an on-chain analytics partner that matches their scale, their sophistication, and their ambition. The participation of Nasdaq Ventures, Deutsche Bank, One Peak and the British Business Bank, and the continued confidence of AlbionVC, Evolution Equity Partners and J.P. Morgan is a clear signal of their belief in us as market leaders. We built Elliptic for exactly this moment, and this funding lets us move faster to meet it."
Elliptic is the only blockchain analytics provider recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer. Coinbase has cited Elliptic as a trusted partner since 2015 in building out its AML program.
This is the largest funding round in Elliptic's history. One Peak led the round, joined by Nasdaq Ventures, the investment arm of the Nasdaq stock exchange, Deutsche Bank, and the British Business Bank, a UK government-backed development finance institution.
The British Business Bank invested through its British Growth Partnership program. The program is designed to channel capital into high-growth UK technology companies and generate long-term returns for pension funds.
"As institutional adoption of digital assets accelerates, the demand for scalable compliance solutions has never been higher. Elliptic pioneered the use of blockchain analytics to meet this challenge and has cemented its status as a global leader, screening over 1 billion transactions a week for 700+ customers in 30 countries. This investment also proves the British Growth Partnership is doing exactly what it was built to do: unlocking the explosive growth of UK technology scale-ups to deliver long term value for our pension funds." — Charlotte Lawrence, Managing Director of Direct Equity, British Business Bank
AlbionVC, Evolution Equity Partners, and J.P. Morgan all continued their participation alongside the new investors.
