Fairlyne secures $3M to revolutionize travel resale

Fairlyne secures $3M seed funding to transform non-refundable tickets into resalable fares, shaking up travel distribution
July 12, 2023

With a recent seed round of $3 million led by Speedinvest, Fairlyne aims to turn non-refundable tickets into resalable fares, generating incremental revenue and providing a seamless resale experience for travel brands and customers. The platform has already made waves through partnerships with OUIGO and Royal Air Maroc, setting the stage for a transformative shift in travel distribution. Join us as we delve into the innovative world of Fairlyne and its mission to unlock the untapped potential of travel resale.

In a fast-paced industry where resale has remained elusive, Fairlyne removes the technological and economic barriers that have hindered the profitability of non-refundable ticket resale. By offering a white label solution, Fairlyne empowers travel brands and operators to maximize customer satisfaction and generate additional profitability by giving customers a second opportunity to resell their tickets. This disruptive approach to distribution has garnered widespread attention, attracting investments from prominent players such as Evolem, Kima Ventures, FJ Labs, and angel investors.

Through strategic partnerships, Fairlyne has already demonstrated its capabilities. Collaborating with OUIGO, the French low-cost train operator, Fairlyne enabled 100,000 passengers to directly use the service on OUIGO's channels, providing a successful resale experience. Notably, Fairlyne emerged as the top startup in the Royal Air Maroc Open Innovation challenge, solidifying its position as a trailblazer in the industry. With RAM set to implement Fairlyne's technology in the coming months, it will be the first airline to pioneer a resale experience for its customers.

The $3 million seed round will fuel Fairlyne's expansion in the airlines, railway, road transportation, and hospitality verticals. It will accelerate the platform's development, deployment with enterprise clients, and expansion into new markets, including the United States. Supported by Speedinvest and a network of investors, Fairlyne is poised to reshape travel distribution and unlock new revenue streams for its partners.

Fairlyne's Resale-as-a-Service platform is poised to disrupt the travel industry by turning non-refundable tickets into resalable fares. With strategic partnerships, industry recognition, and fresh funding, Fairlyne is at the forefront of revolutionizing travel distribution. Stay tuned as we dive deeper into the innovative solutions and impact Fairlyne is bringing to the world of travel.
