Fimple, a leading provider of composable and cloud-native core banking solutions, has successfully raised $12 million in Series A funding. The round was led by DN Capital and Smartfin, with continued participation from APY Ventures and Tera Portfolio.
The funding will accelerate Fimple’s expansion into the MENA and CIS regions, solidifying its position in the banking technology sector. While the company has not disclosed its valuation, this latest round highlights growing investor confidence in its platform.
Fimple’s cloud-native and composable banking platform is already trusted by key financial institutions in Turkey, including Aytemiz Investment Bank, Misyon Bank, Hedef Investment Bank, and Q Investment Bank. Beyond Turkey, the company serves financial institutions across five other countries, offering flexible, scalable solutions to meet evolving banking needs.
With a cloud or on-premise deployment model and pre-configured solutions for Sharia-compliant finance, Fimple is positioned as a transformative force in core banking. Investors see its potential to replace outdated legacy systems with modern, efficient solutions.
Guy Ward Thomas, Partner at DN Capital, noted: "Banks globally are striving to replace outdated legacy systems while competing with agile FinTechs. Fimple provides the ideal solution, enabling banks to launch new products and services quickly and efficiently."
With its growing presence in Egypt and the GCC countries, Fimple is now focused on expanding into the broader MENA and CIS markets. The company aims to leverage its success in Turkey and scale its operations globally. Mücahit Gündebahar, CEO of Fimple, emphasized: "This investment will fuel the development of our innovative products and help us reach new markets. Our mission is to empower financial institutions with the most robust and flexible core banking solutions available."
The funding will be directed toward product enhancements, team expansion, and increasing market penetration. Fimple also plans to develop new AI-driven banking tools to enhance automation and customer experience.
Founded in 2019, Fimple has rapidly emerged as a leader in banking technology. The company was established by a team of financial and technology experts who recognized the urgent need for modular, flexible banking solutions in a fast-changing financial landscape.
Fimple differentiates itself by offering a fully composable banking platform, meaning financial institutions can customize their core banking system with plug-and-play modules instead of relying on rigid, outdated architectures.
Fimple's latest funding round was led by DN Capital, a global early-stage venture fund specializing in fintech, consumer internet, and B2B software. DN Capital has previously invested in Shazam, Remitly, and Auto1.
Smartfin, a European venture and growth capital investor, manages over €600 million in assets and focuses on technology-driven B2B companies.
