Foresight, a software company building unified data infrastructure for private market investors, has raised a $5.5 million seed round. The investment was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with participation from KDX Ventures.
As part of the round, NEA’s Madison Faulkner will join Foresight’s board of directors. The company did not disclose its valuation.
Foresight’s mission is to simplify the complex and siloed nature of private market data. Founded in 2023, the company offers an AI-powered data platform that unifies over 50 sources—ranging from CRMs and cap table tools to KPIs and fund accounting systems—into a single interface for deal sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management.
“Private markets are fragmented—filled with point solutions and siloed data,” said Jason Miller, Foresight’s Founder and CEO. “But unifying and structuring that data into a seamless, usable knowledge graph was a fundamental, unsolved problem until Foresight.”
The funding will allow Foresight to grow its product and go-to-market teams, with hiring underway across both its New York and San Francisco offices. Open roles are listed on the company’s careers page.
Looking ahead, Foresight plans to deepen its integrations with private market data providers and continue developing its platform to support all stages of investment decision-making.
Foresight was co-founded by Jason Miller, a West Point graduate and former executive at BlackRock, Point72, and Greycroft. Co-founder Adam Devine, who leads go-to-market efforts, has previously scaled multiple enterprise AI companies.
Their combined experience helped shape a platform that’s already used by major players such as Forerunner and Kleiner Perkins. Foresight’s goal is to make private market transactions more informed, efficient, and data-driven.
NEA brings deep industry knowledge and scale, with over $27 billion under management and decades of experience across sectors. KDX Ventures, also part of the seed round, has a track record of supporting early-stage software startups.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Jason, Adam, and the team as they work to deliver precision around structured data for private market-focused businesses,” said Faulkner.
