GetWhys has raised $2.75 million in seed funding, bringing its total funding to $3.5 million. This funding round was led by Next Frontier Capital, with contributions from Tuesday Capital and Capital Eleven.
The funding round saw the participation of well-known investors with deep experience in scaling SaaS businesses. Next Frontier Capital, a leading venture firm, spearheaded the investment, joined by Tuesday Capital and Capital Eleven, both known for supporting high-growth startups. "We invested in GetWhys because of Philippe and Tyler's unique vision and expertise, informed by years of experience supporting some of the largest global software companies. Their pioneering approach to AI-driven market intelligence will revolutionize the way customer-facing teams (marketing, product, sales, success) work," said Erika Nash, Partner at Next Frontier Capital.
Traditionally, go-to-market (GTM) teams had to rely on expensive expert interviews or extensive research reports that required significant time and financial resources. GetWhys changes this paradigm by combining a proprietary database of real customer interviews with internal business data, making insights accessible in real time.
"Back when we were consultants, our most successful customers always prioritized research, giving insights teams a seat at the decision-making table," said Philippe Boutros, CEO and co-founder of GetWhys. "We realized that LLMs made it possible for us to bring insights directly to our users' workflows. Instead of limiting research to conference room discussions, we could level-up the work our users spend their time on by bringing insights directly to them."
With this fresh capital, GetWhys plans to expand its engineering team and further develop its platform’s capabilities. The company will focus on enhancing its proprietary database, InsightDB, ensuring that businesses can access richer, real-time insights without relying on costly and slow traditional research methods.
In addition, GetWhys aims to scale customer acquisition efforts by expanding into new markets and refining its existing AI-driven tools. The company is positioning itself as a go-to solution for marketing, product, and sales teams that require on-demand, validated customer intelligence.
Founded by Philippe Boutros and Tyler Honsinger, both experienced B2B market research consultants, GetWhys is built on the idea that customer insights should be seamlessly integrated into decision-making. Instead of siloed research projects, the platform makes insights immediately actionable.
The company’s core product offerings include:
"Ultimately, the goal of market research isn't to produce insights, but to improve some sort of output elsewhere," said Tyler Honsinger, CPO and co-founder of GetWhys. "Our products inject insights directly into our customers' workflow, so that they can do better work, faster. This funding will allow us to further that mission and empower even more teams with the voice of their customers."
GetWhys' latest funding round builds on a growing list of strategic investors. Next Frontier Capital, known for backing innovative tech companies, has been instrumental in supporting early-stage startups. Tuesday Capital and Capital Eleven also bring valuable experience in SaaS and AI-powered platforms.
This funding milestone follows a previous round of $750,000, used to establish the company’s core technology and validate its market fit. With $3.5 million in total funding, GetWhys is well-positioned to accelerate growth and further embed AI-powered customer insights into business workflows.
