Hexa has successfully closed a €29 million financing agreement with four leading European banks: Belfius, Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France, BNP Paribas Fortis, and CIC. This funding comes in the form of a revolving credit facility, providing Hexa with flexible liquidity to fuel its ongoing expansion and support its long-term vision.

This latest round follows the €35 million in equity financing raised earlier in 2024. The combined financial backing will enable Hexa to accelerate its startup creation model, aiming to launch and scale 30 new ventures annually by 2030.

A Year of Growth and Expansion

2024 was a pivotal year for Hexa. The company successfully launched 10 new startups, bringing its total portfolio to 50 companies since its founding in 2011. Additionally, Hexa-backed ventures secured over €70 million in funding from top-tier investors, including Point Nine, LocalGlobe, Eight Roads, and BPI.

Among other milestones, Hexa celebrated a successful exit as its portfolio company Numeral joined forces with Mambu. Beyond startup creation, the company also introduced Hexa Scale, an initiative dedicated to helping underfunded but high-potential startups scale effectively. The program's first majority investment, a €5 million stake in Veevart, marks a strategic expansion into SaaS solutions for museums.

How the New Funding Will Be Used

The €29 million revolving credit facility provides Hexa with the financial agility to seize new opportunities, expand its team, and scale operations. The company plans to strategically deploy these funds to sustain its rapid growth, supporting the launch of more startups and enhancing its infrastructure.

In 2025, Hexa aims to launch 13 new companies—three more than in 2024. While the increase may seem incremental, each additional startup represents a significant investment in resources and expertise. This expansion aligns with Hexa’s long-term goal of reaching 30 new startups per year by 2030.

About Hexa

Founded in 2011, Hexa is a startup studio committed to launching and scaling high-impact companies. Over the years, it has built a portfolio of 50 startups, providing hands-on support and strategic investments to fuel their growth. With a model designed for scalability, Hexa has emerged as a key player in European venture building.

The company’s leadership includes seasoned entrepreneurs and investors dedicated to fostering the next generation of startups. Through its Hexa Scale initiative, the firm is actively supporting promising ventures that need additional capital and expertise to reach their full potential.

Investor Landscape and Historical Funding

Hexa has consistently attracted investments from leading venture capital firms. In 2024 alone, its portfolio companies secured funding from well-known investors such as Point Nine, LocalGlobe, Eight Roads, and BPI.

The latest €29 million financing agreement, structured as a revolving credit facility, strengthens Hexa’s financial position and provides the flexibility needed to drive future growth. With an ambitious roadmap ahead, the company continues to position itself as a powerhouse in the European startup ecosystem.
