London-based logistics company HIVED has raised $42 million in a Series B round led by NordicNinja, with participation from existing backers Planet A, Wex Venture Capital, Marunouchi Innovation Partners, Elemental Impact, Yamato Holdings, Future Back Ventures by Bain & Co, and Rocketship VC.
This new funding comes after HIVED’s seed round in 2021 and Series A in 2023. The fresh capital positions the company to expand its all-electric, AI-powered parcel delivery service across the UK while further developing its proprietary logistics platform, HIVEDmind.
The UK has the third-largest ecommerce market globally, generating around 10% of the country’s GDP. Most traditional logistics providers have been adapting outdated systems to meet ecommerce demands, but HIVED has designed its delivery network from scratch to serve this market.
Its HIVEDmind platform integrates AI, real-time data, and a modern tech stack to connect retailers, warehouses, drivers, and customers into a single synchronized system, offering an experience unmatched by incumbents.
Co-founder and CEO Murvah Iqbal explained: “Parcel delivery should feel seamless, not stressful, but most of the industry is still running on systems that were never designed for ecommerce. At HIVED, we’ve taken a fresh approach – rethinking everything from first principles, putting technology and experience at the centre, and proving there’s a better way to do this at scale. This raise is a huge step forward in making great delivery the norm, not the exception.”
The Series B funds will accelerate HIVED’s rollout across the UK beyond Greater London, where it has already delivered over 6.5 million parcels for major brands like John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo, and Zara — achieving 99% on-time delivery.
The company also plans to grow its engineering and data teams while continuing to refine HIVEDmind. Notably, about 20% of HIVED’s current workforce of 120+ began as drivers, showcasing its inclusive growth approach.
By integrating advanced tracking and delivery intelligence, HIVED has cut customer “Where is my order?” enquiries by over 90% compared to other carriers. Its claims rate for lost or damaged parcels is more than ten times better than industry averages, and customer satisfaction scores exceed 90%, compared to an industry average of 32%.
Tomosaku Sohara, Managing Partner at NordicNinja, said: “HIVED is doing what no one else in logistics has managed to do – pair a truly outstanding consumer experience with deep operational control. They haven’t just improved delivery, they’ve reimagined it from the ground up, with technology as the foundation, not an afterthought.”
NordicNinja led this Series B, joined by Planet A, Wex Venture Capital, Marunouchi Innovation Partners, Elemental Impact, Yamato Holdings, Future Back Ventures by Bain & Co, and Rocketship VC.
HIVED expressed gratitude for the continued support from its investors and emphasized its commitment to building the UK’s most loved parcel delivery network in collaboration with its partners and customers.
