Inntelo AI, a London-based hospitality technology startup, secured £506,000 in its latest pre-seed funding round. This round comes after an initial £120,000 investment from Antler, known globally for supporting early-stage startups.
Leading this recent investment was venture capital firm Haatch, partnered with British Business Investments. Other participants included Look AI Ventures and prominent angel investors, notably former executives from Trip.com and DocuSign.
The hospitality industry faces significant challenges, including rising operational costs, increased competition, and workforce recruitment issues. Inntelo AI addresses these problems through an innovative AI-driven platform, designed specifically to improve hotel communication and operational efficiency. The platform automates guest interactions via WhatsApp or phone, converting inquiries directly into actionable tasks for hotel teams.
Inntelo AI's CEO, Asif Alidina, explains, “Hospitality’s AI transformation must be led from within the industry. Too often, hotels have struggled to adopt new technologies because they were developed without real operational insight. We’re incredibly excited about this new era, where the hospitality sector can not only embrace technology earlier than ever before but also lead the way for the wider real estate and service industries.”
The funding will primarily support Inntelo AI’s commercial growth, including expanding sales and marketing efforts, as well as increasing customer deployments. Another key area of investment will be deeper integrations with hotel property management systems to streamline operations further.
Looking ahead, Inntelo AI plans significant growth by onboarding more hotels in Europe, the Middle East, and other global markets. Their ambition includes enhancing platform capabilities and exploring innovative AI-driven features to set new standards in guest experience and operational effectiveness.
Inntelo AI, founded by industry veteran Asif Alidina, brings extensive hands-on experience in hotel operations, particularly housekeeping and facilities management. Launched to bridge the gap between technology and hospitality operations, Inntelo leverages advanced conversational and agentic AI to enhance guest interactions and improve operational workflows.
The company’s newly established global advisory board includes senior figures from major hospitality brands such as Accor, Fairmont, and Hilton. This strategic guidance ensures that Inntelo’s offerings closely match real-world industry needs, setting it apart from many technology-first competitors.
The primary investor, Haatch, is an experienced venture capital firm known for backing B2B SaaS and AI-driven startups, providing hands-on support and extensive industry expertise. British Business Investments, its partner, helps finance high-potential UK companies.
Look AI Ventures, another key investor, specializes exclusively in early-stage AI startups with transformative potential, particularly drawn to Inntelo’s integrated solution bridging guest expectations and hotel staff efficiency.
Fred Soneya of Haatch emphasized, “Inntelo AI has all the hallmarks we look for in a high-potential startup – deep sector knowledge, real operational insight, and a product solving a clear pain point in a large, global market.”
Angelo Burgarello of Look AI Ventures further noted, “What immediately stood out to us was Inntelo’s ability to bridge the gap between guest expectations and hotel staff operations, something most solutions address only partially.”
