Arya Health, an AI company helping home health and post-acute care providers automate scheduling, compliance, and administrative operations, has closed an $18.2 million Series A funding round. ACME Capital led the investment, with participation from Ridge Ventures, Twelve Below, executives from OpenAI, and several post-acute care providers. The round brings Arya's total funding to $25 million.
The financing arrives as post-acute care providers face mounting pressure from multiple directions. Caregiver shortages continue to worsen, regulatory requirements keep shifting, and wage costs are climbing fast—all while operators work with razor-thin margins that leave little room for error.
Home healthcare agencies, hospice providers, and long-term care facilities are dealing with challenges that have reached a tipping point. Private equity investment and industry consolidation have pushed organizations to rethink how they operate. The traditional approach of throwing more people at administrative problems no longer works when the people aren't available and costs keep rising.
Arya is building what it calls an AI-native "system of action" that works alongside existing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. The platform takes over the administrative tasks that typically consume front office resources, slow down growth, and pull attention away from actual patient care.
"Post-acute care organizations spend roughly 25 cents of every dollar on non-clinical tasks," said Kunal Sarda, CEO and co-founder of Arya Health. "That's time and money that should be going toward caregivers and patients, not process. Arya is flipping that equation by using AI to take on the operational burden so providers can focus on delivering care, not moving patients, caregivers, and data around in their EMR. Our mandate is to make post-acute care administration more scalable, human, and cost-effective at the same time."
Arya's AI-powered digital agents handle several critical workflows that typically require significant manual effort. The platform automates caregiver scheduling, tracks compliance requirements, and manages hiring pipelines. These agents integrate into daily operations and adapt over time to improve workforce efficiency.
The company's Onboarding Agent cuts time-to-first-staffing by 50% while requiring 70% less administrative work. Its Talent Acquisition Agent handles caregiver recruitment and scheduling with 60% less human involvement. The Compliance Agent eliminates manual license tracking and can be deployed in just one week.
Arya plans to launch an Intake Agent in Q4. The new tool is designed to speed up patient start of care and reduce back-office bottlenecks that delay service delivery.
The Series A funding will support product expansion across additional administrative functions and enable the company to scale its team to meet rising demand. Arya has grown revenue more than 6x in 2025 and expects to hit 10x year-over-year growth by the end of the year.
The company has also made a strategic appointment to support its next phase. Melinda Phillips, former CEO of Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care (which was acquired by Aveanna), will lead Arya's Care@Home Center of Excellence. Phillips brings operational experience from running one of the nation's largest post-acute providers. Her background combines with Arya's technology focus to blend industry knowledge with innovation.
ACME Capital sees Arya as addressing a critical need in an underserved market. The post-acute care industry has lagged behind other healthcare sectors in adopting modern technology, creating an opportunity for solutions that can improve operations without compromising care quality.
"Arya represents exactly the kind of innovation post-acute care needs right now," said Aike Ho, Partner at ACME Capital. "They're pairing deep operational expertise with cutting-edge AI to unlock entirely new economics for providers, without sacrificing the humanity at the heart of care."
Arya was founded to tackle the specific pain points that plague post-acute care administration. The company builds AI-powered digital agents purpose-built for home health, home care, and hospice organizations. By integrating with leading EMR systems, Arya automates scheduling, compliance, onboarding, and other manual office work. The goal is to help agencies reduce costs, increase caregiver utilization, and scale more efficiently while keeping the focus on patient care rather than paperwork.
