ConductorOne, an AI-native identity security platform, has closed $79 million in Series B funding, bringing its total capital raised to over $100 million. Greycroft led the round, with participation from strategic investor CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and existing backers Accel and Felicis Ventures.
The funding comes as enterprises grapple with an explosion of identities that legacy systems can't handle. ConductorOne now manages millions of identities across its platform and counts Fortune 500 companies like Zscaler, Ramp, and DoorDash among its customers, positioning the company as a market leader in AI-native identity solutions.
Identity is now the number one enterprise attack surface. According to recent data, 82 percent of organizations experienced a cyberattack or breach in the past year due to improper access or over-privileged users. AI is pushing identity counts to levels that legacy systems were never designed to handle—experts predict a surge to 100x today's scale.
Traditional identity governance and administration (IGA), identity and access management (IAM), and privileged access management (PAM) solutions can't keep up. These tools are often cobbled together from multiple point products with AI capabilities added as an afterthought rather than built into the foundation.
"The AI era has fundamentally reshaped identity security. The scale of identity sprawl is beyond what today's organizations and solutions can handle and only growing more complex," said Alex Bovee, Co-founder and CEO of ConductorOne. "This AI-driven complexity can only be managed with AI-native solutions that can scale and automate at the same pace. This funding supports our mission to build the first AI-native identity security platform that secures every identity—human, non-human, and AI—so companies can move faster, safer."
ConductorOne plans to use the new capital to accelerate product innovation and expand enterprise adoption. The company will also grow its team and continue delivering strong support for customers.
Planned product advancements include expanded AI-driven automation, actionable dashboards and analytics, and modern directory management capabilities. The platform can function as a standalone solution or work alongside existing legacy systems, allowing companies to solve immediate pain points while gradually migrating operations.
ConductorOne was designed with AI at its core from day one, unifying IGA, IAM, and PAM into a single platform. This approach transforms how identity is secured in the modern workforce. With powerful connectors and automation driven by AI, the platform delivers stronger security while driving meaningful productivity gains.
The company's platform automates identity security from end to end, eliminating manual work that traditionally bogs down IT teams. According to ConductorOne, the system does the work of two full-time employees and drives a 95 percent reduction in IT effort for access requests. This enables organizations to implement true least privilege at scale.
Founded by Alex Bovee and Paul Querna, who serves as CTO, ConductorOne addresses the growing challenge of managing human, non-human, and AI identities across enterprise environments. The platform provides centralized identity and access visibility, enforces fine-grained access controls, enables just-in-time access, and automates user access reviews across all apps and infrastructure.
Marcie Vu, Partner at Greycroft, will join ConductorOne's board, bringing over 25 years of strategic and financial advisory expertise in AI, software, and technology sectors. She will work alongside Bovee, Querna, and the broader ConductorOne team.
"As AI-driven application and agent development increases and enterprises wrangle with an exponential number of identities, identity management has never been more complex," said Vu. "ConductorOne's AI-first approach is exactly what companies need to navigate these challenges. With Alex and Paul's deep identity domain expertise and ConductorOne's customer-obsessed culture, this team is uniquely positioned to take on this massive opportunity."
The company has also earned praise from customers who have moved away from legacy vendors. "I've had experience with legacy vendors in this space and it's a night and day difference—in the way you can use the product, in the onboarding time, in the time to value, and how you're treated as a customer," said Matthew Sullivan, Infrastructure Security Team Leader at Instacart.
ConductorOne's rapid enterprise expansion reflects the urgent need for modern identity security solutions that can keep pace with AI-driven complexity. The company's quick-to-deploy platform connects to all major apps and infrastructure, making identity security manageable regardless of environmental complexity. With this latest funding round, ConductorOne is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory and help enterprises secure their expanding digital identities.
