InstaLILY AI has closed a $25 million Series A funding round to expand its platform of domain-trained AI agents designed for distribution-heavy industries. The round was led by global software investor Insight Partners, with participation from Perceptive Ventures and Marvin Ventures.

The company is taking a different approach to enterprise AI by offering vertical-specific AI teammates, called InstaWorkers™, that execute complete workflows within existing business systems rather than simply providing suggestions or automating basic tasks.

Addressing AI Execution Gap in Complex Industries

Traditional AI solutions have struggled in distribution-heavy sectors where businesses rely on large product catalogs, specialized knowledge, and fragmented software systems. Industries ranging from industrial parts distribution to insurance and healthcare face challenges with high-volume, multi-step processes that typically require expert human intervention.

"We kept hearing the same thing: AI copilots are useful, but they don't do the work," said Amit Shah, Founder and CEO of InstaLILY. "InstaWorkers™ are different. They're AI Teammates—built to execute, not just suggest next steps. That's the promise of Code-as-Work: AI that radically expands human capacity, not replaces it."

InstaWorkers™ are trained on industry-specific processes and can navigate complex software environments including ERPs, CRMs, and ticketing platforms without requiring system replacements.

Funding to Accelerate Platform Expansion

The Series A capital will be used to expand InstaLILY's catalog of pre-trained InstaWorkers™ across new industry verticals and strengthen integration support for common enterprise systems. The company plans to accelerate adoption across sales, service, and operations teams while maintaining compatibility with existing workflows.

InstaLILY is also extending multimodal capabilities to enable agents to process voice and video inputs, opening new applications in field service, contact centers, and human-agent-robot collaboration scenarios.

Early Customer Results Show Immediate Impact

Several large-scale customers are already deploying InstaWorkers™ with measurable results. A construction-supply distributor with over $10 billion in revenue has equipped its 1,500+ managers with AI sales support teams that convert sales data into actionable follow-ups, allowing managers to focus on strategic account growth.

One of the world's largest OEM equipment platforms uses AI service specialists to support field technicians. These InstaWorkers™ analyze complex fault descriptions and predict replacement parts from thousands of SKUs, enabling technicians to concentrate on repairs and customer service.

A private equity-backed insurance and healthcare services provider deployed an AI claims operations team to handle high-volume denials. The InstaWorkers™ extract policy and claim data, evaluate coverage rules, identify appealable cases, and generate compliant responses—reducing manual review time by 70% and accelerating resolution cycles.

Company Focus on Execution Over Assistance

InstaLILY differentiates itself from horizontal AI platforms that focus on summarization, chat, or surface-level automation by delivering decision-oriented execution. The company's InstaWorkers™ take ownership of high-stakes workflows including quoting, issue triage, part validation, and exception handling.

"These aren't chatbots," said Sumantro Das, Co-founder and COO of InstaLILY. "They're AI Teammates who are embedded in the team and doing the work, not floating around it."

The platform operates across legacy systems and real-world complexity, going beyond robotic process automation to provide domain-trained intelligence.

Investor Confidence in Vertical AI Approach

Insight Partners sees significant potential in InstaLILY's approach to vertical-specific AI implementation. The firm manages over $90 billion in regulatory assets and has invested in more than 800 companies worldwide, with over 55 portfolio companies achieving IPOs.

"Hiring a domain-trained AI Teammate is one of those rare ideas that's both intuitive and built to scale," said Crissy Costa Behrens, Principal at Insight Partners. "InstaLILY is executing where horizontal AI tools stall—delivering vertical AI that doesn't just assist but actually owns outcomes. With InstaWorkers™, InstaLILY is helping build a better future of work: grounded in actions, not suggestions."

The investment builds on InstaLILY's mission to provide AI teammates that understand specific industry verticals and can execute core sales, service, and operations workflows for distribution-heavy and regulated businesses.
