Nas.com, an AI platform for one-person businesses, has closed a $27 million Series A funding round. The company was founded by Nuseir Yassin, the creator behind Nas Daily, who built an audience of 70 million followers by documenting stories across 64 countries. His goal with Nas.com is more focused: help anyone turn a skill, product, or idea into a functioning business, without needing a team, a technical background, or an existing audience.
One number puts the opportunity in context. In January 2026 alone, the U.S. Census Bureau recorded 532,319 new business applications. Globally, around 150 million people already run businesses on their own, and that figure is expected to grow by another 100 million over the next five years as AI continues to shift the jobs market. The platforms most of these people rely on today, from Etsy to Shopify, make it easier to list products. They do not make it easier to find buyers.
Khosla Ventures led the round, with Vinod Khosla and Nicole Fraenkel representing the firm. 500 Global also joined. Strategic angels in the round include Shuo Wang, co-founder of Deel; Stanley Tang, co-founder of DoorDash; Scott Adelson, CEO of Houlihan Lokey; and Tim Ferriss, author of The 4-Hour Workweek.
Tools for small business owners have gotten better over the past decade. Starting a store is easier. Accepting payments is easier. But one problem has not gone away. Running paid ad campaigns requires skills most solo operators do not have. Hiring someone who does costs money most of them do not have. Many AI tools that claim to help still assume a baseline level of knowledge that many new business owners are missing.
Nas.com is built around the view that customer acquisition is the real obstacle, not product creation or storefront setup. Its platform brings together automated marketing, ad creation, ad placement, and storefront building in one tool at $29 a month. The company says its highest-earning users have generated between $1 and $2 million in their first year on the platform.
"The next wave of wealth will not come solely from Fortune 500 companies. It will come from hundreds of millions of people who finally have the same tools, the same reach, and the same opportunity that used to be reserved for those who went to the right university, lived in the right city, or knew the right investor. This is one of the greatest wealth equitable creation opportunity in the history of humanity." — Vinod Khosla, Founder, Khosla Ventures.
The new capital will be divided equally across three areas: hiring, AI product development, and geographic expansion. The United States, Mexico, and Latin America are the priority markets for growth in the near term.
The latest version of the product, Nas.com v3, is built around a single starting point: a photo. A user points their phone at whatever they want to sell, and the platform builds the storefront, writes the marketing copy, creates the product listing, and begins working to bring in a first customer. No coding or design experience is needed at any stage.
The platform already has meaningful scale. It serves 3.5 million members across more than 150 countries. More than 20,000 of its paying users are running active businesses, and over 90% of them work alone. At $29 a month, Nas.com replaces a combination of tools that would typically cost more than $100 a month when purchased separately.
Yassin grew up in a small town in northern Israel, won a full scholarship to Harvard, and left a well-paid job at 24 to document stories across 64 countries. He held meetups in 100 cities along the way. At each one, he encountered a similar type of person: someone with a clear skill and the drive to build something, held back not by effort or ability but by not knowing how to reach a paying customer.
Nas.com was built for that person. The platform covers the full range of what a solo business needs: AI-powered creation of digital and physical products, storefront building, community tools, membership programs, marketing automation, ad creation and placement, customer acquisition, and global payments with shipping. The company reported 5x revenue growth in 2025.
The user base reflects the breadth of the platform's reach. A 67-year-old farmer in Mexico turned his agricultural expertise into an online academy and earned $20,000 within a few months. A yoga instructor in Singapore rebuilt her business online after her studio closed, making $100,000 in 14 months. A seamstress in Texas now ships handmade dresses to customers she had no way of reaching before.
"I built this for the person I kept meeting at every meetup in every city around the world. AI is eliminating jobs. But it also just handed every person on earth something no platform ever has before: a way to replace their boss instead of being replaced. The person with zero followers, zero marketing budget, and everything it takes to build something real, except a way in. That person exists in every country on earth. Hundreds of millions of them. Nas.com is the door." — Nuseir Yassin, Founder and CEO, Nas.com.
The Series A was led by Vinod Khosla and Nicole Fraenkel at Khosla Ventures. Fraenkel is a Partner at the firm and leads its investments in frontier AI across infrastructure, enterprise, consumer, defense, and biotech.
500 Global participated alongside several strategic angels, including Maor Shlomo, Founder and CEO of Base44.
"I invested because Nas.com is tackling the hardest problem every entrepreneur faces—finding customers—and the 2025 growth shows they're doing it at scale." — Maor Shlomo, Founder and CEO, Base44.
