Kognitos, an AI automation platform designed for business operations, has secured $25 million in Series B funding to accelerate product development and expand into new industries, including banking and healthcare.
The round was led by Prosperity7 Ventures, with participation from Khosla Ventures, Wipro Ventures, Engineering Capital, Dentsu Ventures, and Alumni Ventures.
Kognitos operates in the fast-growing enterprise automation space, part of the broader hyperautomation market projected to exceed $1 trillion. The platform already supports hundreds of automation use cases across sectors like manufacturing, consumer goods, logistics, telecom, and retail.
By combining symbolic reasoning with modern machine learning — a method known as neurosymbolic AI — Kognitos ensures its AI agents don’t hallucinate. This focus on reliability and explainability gives businesses confidence when automating complex processes.
"With Kognitos, we're automating processes we thought were out of reach, thanks to hallucination-free AI and natural language capabilities,” said Christina Jalaly at Boost Mobile. “The agility and speed to value are game-changing, consistently delivering roughly 23x ROI."
The new funding will allow Kognitos to continue developing its patented Process Refinement Engine and broaden its market reach. The company plans to deepen its presence in highly regulated industries such as banking and healthcare, where governance and explainability are essential.
Kognitos will also scale its platform capabilities with added browser automation, advanced document and Excel processing, and built-in agent regression testing — all designed to reduce maintenance costs and deliver faster results.
Founded to make AI more accessible and accountable, Kognitos allows enterprises to automate workflows using plain English as code — removing the need for technical scripts or drag-and-drop interfaces. Its unified platform supports both structured and unstructured data, working seamlessly with emails, documents, voicemails, databases, and legacy applications.
With its free Community Edition, users can start automating in minutes using pre-built workflows across finance, HR, legal, and operations. The platform also allows human guidance to be learned and integrated, ensuring automations evolve with business needs.
“The era of brittle automation and unpredictable AI is over,” said Binny Gill, CEO of Kognitos. “We’re helping businesses build a transparent, ever-improving system of record — all powered by English as code.”
Kognitos’ investor base brings deep expertise in AI, enterprise software, and business transformation. Prosperity7 Ventures, the round’s lead investor, highlighted the platform’s promise of delivering reliable, business-ready automation without the risk of AI hallucinations.
“What Kognitos is doing with their neurosymbolic AI is a genuine breakthrough,” said Abhishek Shukla, Managing Director at Prosperity7 Ventures. “Their platform puts powerful automation in the hands of business users while enabling robust governance.”
Previous rounds included investments from Khosla Ventures, Wipro Ventures, and Engineering Capital, among others.
