Nuvo, a fast-growing platform focused on modernizing B2B trade, has announced a $45 million funding round backed by a strong roster of investors. The round includes participation from Sequoia Capital, Spark Capital, Founders Fund, Index Ventures, Human Capital, Foundation Capital, and Susa Ventures. Prominent angel investors also joined, such as Gokul Rajaram, Max Mullen (Instacart), Matt MacInnis (Rippling), Samsara founders Sanjit Biswas and John Bicket, Clay founder Varun Anand, Blend founders Eugene Marinelli and Rosco Hill, Flexport's Ryan Petersen, and former Y Combinator MD Ali Rowghani.
The investment comes at a time when U.S. B2B trade is still largely run on outdated systems. Every year, $11 trillion in goods flows through the American economy, yet coordination still often relies on faxes, emails, and phone calls. Nuvo is addressing this inefficiency by providing a digital infrastructure that speeds up and secures business connections.
Nuvo helps businesses exchange verified profiles instantly, enabling access to trust signals like creditworthiness, banking information, trade history, and verification status. The platform is designed to help companies onboard new partners more quickly and with greater confidence. By consolidating identity, risk, and trade data, Nuvo aims to reduce friction in establishing commercial relationships and open new paths for growth.
"There are more businesses in the world than ever before, greater connectivity between them, and more trade flowing through every relationship," said Sid Malladi, co-founder and CEO of Nuvo. "Continued innovation, growth, and accessibility of goods in the global economy require a new kind of technology infrastructure, and that’s what we’re building at Nuvo."
Nuvo will use the newly raised funds to strengthen its presence in key industries such as alcohol and beverage, building materials, chemicals, food service, logistics, and manufacturing. The company also plans to expand into new sectors, introducing AI-driven systems and payment infrastructure to serve a wider range of global trade partners.
Part of the funding will also support team growth, especially in engineering and go-to-market roles. As it scales, Nuvo is preparing to support trade across a network of 50 million businesses worldwide.
Founded in 2021 by Sid Malladi and Rameez Remsudeen, Nuvo has quickly grown its user base to over 50,000 businesses. Its platform supports a range of industries and includes customers like Great Dane, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, and Fender. Nuvo positions itself as the backbone for B2B trade—not by replacing ERP systems, but by connecting them more intelligently.
With its all-in-one verification and risk management tools, Nuvo reduces onboarding time and helps businesses scale faster without added risk. The platform's flexibility and cross-industry appeal have fueled its rapid adoption.
Beyond major VC firms, Nuvo’s backers include founders and leaders from some of the most influential companies in logistics, e-commerce, and SaaS. This network of support highlights growing recognition of the urgent need for smarter infrastructure in B2B commerce.
