San Francisco-based Olto has raised $5.1 million in pre-seed funding to bring AI-driven personalization to B2B sales demos. The round was co-led by Nexus Venture Partners and The General Partnership, with participation from Afore Capital, Recall Capital, Ligature, FirstHand, and several well-known founders and executives.
The startup is introducing an AI-native platform that acts as a “demo engineer” for sales and marketing teams. It generates dynamic, prospect-specific product environments, turning each interaction—whether inbound, outbound, or live—into a personalized, conversion-focused experience.
B2B buyers now expect the same tailored experiences they’re used to in consumer products. At the same time, sales teams are being asked to move faster with fewer resources. But product demos—often manually assembled and dependent on engineering teams—remain a slow, inconsistent part of the process.
Olto addresses this gap with a system that plugs directly into a company's CRM and live product. It automatically adapts demos to each opportunity using a blend of entity resolution, orchestration, and large language models—all while staying current as the product evolves.
“At Amazon, we pioneered just-in-time personalization to change the way consumers engage with media,” said Kintan Brahmbhatt, CEO and co-founder of Olto. “With Olto, we’re bringing that same magic to B2B software. Every seller gets an expert demo engineer that’s always on, always current, and always tailored to the buyer.”
With the new funding, Olto plans to accelerate product development, expand go-to-market efforts, and deepen integrations across the sales tech stack. The team is also focused on improving demo intelligence features to help sales reps better understand buyer engagement and fine-tune messaging.
The goal is clear: help sales teams close deals faster, while reducing time spent on prep and coordination. According to early customer feedback, Olto is already making an impact.
Companies using Olto have reported up to a 70% drop in demo prep time and improved win rates. Demandbase, Eightfold.ai, Qventus, and Jiminny are among the early adopters.
“We've worked with Olto for quite some time, and their product has become an essential part of our demo process,” said Kyle Gutke, VP of Solutions Consulting at Demandbase. “It's simple to use and makes it easy to highlight key elements of our solutions, especially by allowing us to hide sensitive information in real time.”
"Now, we can instantly show prospects how our platform would look for their specific use case, without hours of manual setup," added Ethan Jones, VP of Solutions Consulting at Eightfold. "It’s transformed how we demonstrate value."
Olto was founded by former Amazon leaders Kintan Brahmbhatt and Jean-Baptiste Chaput, with Amazon engineering veteran Pranav Midha joining as founding engineer. Brahmbhatt co-founded Amazon Music and led product and general management for Amazon’s podcast business. He also co-invented Prime Video’s X-Ray feature.
Their experience building consumer-grade personalization tools is now being applied to one of enterprise software’s most persistent pain points: demo delivery.
Investors say Olto is solving a timely and growing challenge in B2B sales.
“Sales teams spend countless hours on manual demo preparation, only to deliver generic experiences that don't resonate with prospects,” said Abhishek Sharma, managing director at Nexus Venture Partners. “Olto’s AI-first approach eliminates this time drain and creates genuinely targeted experiences that lead to faster sales cycles.”
“What excited us about Olto is how naturally Kintan and JB are applying their consumer product instincts to one of the biggest bottlenecks in enterprise software sales—demo delivery,” added Phin Barnes, co-founder at The General Partnership.
