Parloa has raised $350 million in Series D funding at a $3 billion valuation, positioning the AI customer experience platform among the most capitalized companies in its sector. General Catalyst led the round, with participation from existing backers including EQT Ventures, Altimeter Capital, Durable Capital Partners, and Mosaic Ventures.
The investment comes just seven months after Parloa's Series C round. Since 2022, the Berlin-founded company has now raised more than $560 million total. Fortune 200 enterprises including Allianz, Booking.com, HealthEquity, SAP, Sedgwick, Swiss Life, and TeamViewer currently use its platform.
Parloa's AI Agent Management Platform allows companies to design and deploy conversational AI without extensive coding requirements. Teams can build agents using natural language, simulating interactions at scale before deployment and monitoring performance through real-time dashboards.
"Parloa is setting the standard for enterprise-grade AI throughout the customer journey," said Hemant Taneja, CEO of General Catalyst and a top-10 name on the Forbes Midas List. "Their platform combines innovation and scalability, making them a clear leader in this rapidly evolving space. We truly believe Parloa's approach to agentic AI will transform how global enterprises engage with customers, and we're excited to support their vision and continued growth."
Taneja and General Catalyst's President Jeannette zu Fürstenberg will join Parloa's Supervisory Board following the investment.
The new capital will fuel geographic expansion across the U.S. and Europe. Parloa has scouted office locations in San Francisco and Madrid, established a local team in London, and recently opened its U.S. headquarters in midtown Manhattan.
Beyond physical expansion, funds will support continued development of the AI Agent Management Platform. Parloa also plans to launch the Parloa Promise, described as a commitment to agent reliability, ongoing innovation, and human-centered responsible AI practices.
Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald founded Parloa on the principle that quality conversations build lasting relationships. That philosophy continues to guide the company's technology development today. The company now employs 380 people across offices in New York, Berlin, and Munich.
"This funding marks a pivotal moment for Parloa as we expand globally, advance our approach to reimagine customer experience, and help enterprises to build meaningful relationships with their customers," said Kosub, who serves as CEO. "Our commitment to these organizations is clear: to enable exceptional, hyper-personalized customer journeys through agentic AI that deepen loyalty, responsibly and at scale."
The platform emphasizes compliance and data security alongside functionality. Built-in safety features and enterprise-grade protections aim to meet regulatory standards while providing transparency into how AI agents operate and make decisions.
The rapid follow-on funding reflects investor belief that AI-powered customer service represents a major market opportunity. However, perspectives on Parloa's specific advantages vary among backers.
"Parloa is contributing to redefine what customer relationships look like at scale," said Carolina Brochado, Head of EQT Growth US and Head of EQT Ventures. "Their ability to combine enterprise-grade AI with real-world intelligence, built on a strong foundation of safety and reliability, helps to set them apart in a crowded market."
Apoorv Agrawal, Partner at Altimeter Capital, highlighted operational execution: "Parloa combines a leading agentic AI platform with the enterprise DNA to deploy it at scale - forward-deployed engineers on the ground, Fortune 500 customers in production, and a world-class go-to-market team armed with fresh capital to capture the global CX market."
Henry Ellenbogen, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Durable Capital Partners, emphasized relationship-building as a competitive differentiator. "We believe the next generation of category-defining companies will be built on relationships, not transactions. Parloa is leading that shift by making AI personal, contextual, and enduring."
The customer experience technology market includes numerous automation platforms, but Parloa's investors see its agentic approach as distinct from workflow-based alternatives.
"The CX market is crowded with automation tools, but very few players are pushing the frontier of truly agentic AI," said Mona Gindler, Partner at Senovo. "Parloa stands out by moving the industry from scripted workflows to adaptive, relationship-driven agents that learn and improve over time. That's what category leadership looks like at this stage of the market."
Jens Rassloff, Chairman of Parloa's Supervisory Board, framed the Series D as validation of both technology and market timing. "This investment marks a defining moment for Parloa. The scale of commitment and trust from our investors reflects not only the strength of our technology and execution, but also our conviction that agentic AI in customer relationships is entering a decisive phase. With this capital, Parloa is uniquely positioned to be a global category leader."
Whether Parloa's platform will capture the customer experience market at the scale its valuation suggests remains to be seen. But with over half a billion dollars raised and major enterprise clients already in production, the company has resources and early traction to test its thesis.
