Wandercraft has announced a $75 million Series D round, combining equity and debt, to accelerate the deployment of its AI-powered robotic systems worldwide. The round includes new investment from Renault Group and the PSIM fund, managed by Bpifrance as part of the France 2030 plan. Teampact Ventures and Quadrant Management also joined the raise, alongside continued support from other institutional investors.
This new round comes amid growing global interest in robotic mobility solutions. The fresh capital will fuel the commercial rollout of Wandercraft’s personal exoskeleton, Eve, accelerate the clinical adoption of its rehabilitation system, Atalante X, and support the development of Calvin-40, a new humanoid robot designed for industrial applications.
Wandercraft’s funding follows its recently announced partnership with Renault Group, which has acquired a minority stake in the company. Renault is now Wandercraft’s first customer for Calvin-40 and will support the scaling of both Eve and the Calvin robot family with its industrial expertise.
Calvin-40 is notable as Europe’s first humanoid robot created specifically for demanding physical tasks. Developed in just 40 days, it was built using Wandercraft’s proprietary platform integrated with NVIDIA’s Isaac technologies—featuring the Isaac GR00T N1 foundation model and Jetson edge AI platform.
The Series D funds will push forward several parallel initiatives. First, it will support the commercialization of Eve, the self-balancing personal-use exoskeleton designed for everyday mobility. Second, Wandercraft will expand global availability of Atalante X, already in use at more than 100 medical centers.
Third, the company will continue building out its Calvin robot line to meet rising demand from industrial sectors for hands-free, autonomous systems that can perform physically intensive tasks.
Wandercraft was founded in 2012 with a mission to restore mobility through hands-free, self-balancing robots. Its flagship product, Atalante X, has received two FDA clearances and is being evaluated in more than 20 clinical studies. The system has already helped over 2,500 people take more than 14 million steps.
The company's innovations don’t stop at clinics. In New York, it recently launched “Walk in New York by Wandercraft,” a walk center offering regular sessions for people with mobility challenges. It also serves as a U.S. base ahead of Eve’s anticipated 2026 market debut.
Wandercraft’s momentum has attracted global attention. Eve was featured during the Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay in 2024 and showcased at CES and NVIDIA GTC 2025. The company was also honored with a 2025 SXSW Innovation Award and named to France’s prestigious FT120 Index for top startups.
With more than 30 patents, billions of simulated steps, and advanced AI powering its systems, Wandercraft continues to stand out in the growing robotic mobility space.
Alongside Renault Group, returning investors in this Series D round include Quadrant Management (who led the Series C), LBO France, Mutuelles Impact (managed by XAnge), Cemag Invest, Martagon Capital, and AG2R LA MONDIALE.
