Stockholm-based healthtech company Tandem Health has raised $50 million in Series A funding to further its mission of reducing the administrative burden on clinicians across Europe. The round was led by Kinnevik, with additional participation from Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries Club.
The investment follows rapid adoption of Tandem’s AI-driven clinical documentation tools, already in use across thousands of hospitals and clinics. While the company did not disclose its valuation, the new funding positions it to expand its role as a core technology provider within Europe’s healthcare infrastructure.
Tandem’s technology has already made a visible impact. Its AI medical scribe is used by over 1,000 hospitals and clinics across Europe and supports clinical documentation in primary care, psychiatry, and specialist practices.
Through its collaboration with Accurx, more than 200,000 NHS professionals in the UK now have access to Tandem’s AI assistant—making it one of the most widespread implementations of AI in healthcare worldwide.

Tandem’s core product is an AI clinical copilot that transcribes patient conversations in real time and generates accurate, compliant medical notes—helping reduce time spent on admin and enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.
With this latest round of funding, Tandem plans to go beyond documentation. The company is now building a complete AI-native operating system designed to support the full clinical workflow. That includes helping clinicians capture the right clinical codes, coordinate care more effectively, and receive real-time decision support.
This expansion aims to provide quiet but meaningful assistance—removing friction from care delivery, rather than trying to replace the human role.
Founded in the Nordics, Tandem Health has grown rapidly across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and other European markets. The company has built a strong foundation by involving more than 20 experienced doctors and psychologists in its development process and collaborating closely with hundreds of healthcare organizations.
What sets Tandem apart is its deep integration with local health systems and strong compliance with regulations such as GDPR and national data privacy laws. Every feature has been designed to reflect the real needs and day-to-day workflows of clinicians.
