Tofu, an AI-powered platform for B2B marketing teams, has secured $12 million in Series A funding, led by SignalFire. Other participants include HubSpot Ventures, Tau Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Alumni Ventures, SH Fund, Riverside Ventures, Eudemian Ventures, and Han Bridge Capital, along with existing investors Index Ventures, Stage 2 Capital, and Liquid 2 Ventures. The funding aims to accelerate Tofu’s mission of simplifying go-to-market (GTM) strategies for marketing teams.
Over the past year, Tofu has experienced rapid growth, reporting a 12x revenue increase and a 36x surge in content generated on its platform. Companies like RingCentral, Check Point, and Bluecore have adopted Tofu to streamline their marketing operations.
Marketing teams often struggle with an overwhelming number of martech tools, leading to inefficiencies and siloed workflows. Tofu addresses this issue by centralizing campaign execution, enabling teams to create personalized, omnichannel campaigns at scale without juggling multiple software solutions.
Wayne Hu, Partner at SignalFire, emphasized the significance of Tofu’s platform: "Tofu is the end of one-size-fits-none marketing, and the true beginning of generative marketing, through omni-channel hyper-personalized campaigns that scale. Customers have raved about the 10x+ lift in content output for time strapped marketing teams and 20 percent downstream conversion lift."
The newly raised capital will be used to expand Tofu’s AI capabilities, refine its platform, and enhance personalization for GTM teams. The company also plans to broaden its market reach, catering to businesses of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises.
“We're grateful for our investors' support and customer feedback, which drive us to create a comprehensive, one-stop solution that helps marketing teams scale campaigns across a wide range of use cases,” said EJ Cho, Co-founder and CEO of Tofu. The company aims to further optimize campaign execution across demand generation, content marketing, lifecycle marketing, and outbound SDR efforts.
Founded by EJ Cho, Elaine, and Honglei, Tofu was created to help B2B marketing teams scale efficiently by leveraging AI-driven automation. The company’s focus on customer-centric innovation has positioned it as a valuable tool for GTM professionals looking to optimize marketing performance.
Marketing teams using Tofu have reported up to 75% reduction in campaign creation time and a 230% increase in engagement rates across marketing channels. By eliminating martech inefficiencies, Tofu is enabling businesses to execute campaigns with greater precision and speed.
