Uare.ai has secured $10.3 million in seed funding to develop Individual AI technology: digital counterparts that replicate a person's thinking patterns, expertise, and voice. The round was led by Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures, with participation from additional strategic investors.
The company, formerly known as Eternos.life, is taking a different approach from most AI developers. While the industry focuses on building artificial general intelligence (AGI) meant to serve everyone, Uare.ai is creating personalized AI models that belong exclusively to individual users. Each model runs in a private, containerized environment and learns from its owner's memories, stories, and decision-making patterns.
The funding will support hiring, platform expansion, and the product launch scheduled for later this year. Uare.ai is targeting prosumers, creators, and professionals who want to scale their presence, reach larger audiences, and create new revenue streams from their knowledge and expertise.
"Everyone is racing toward AGI - one superintelligent system for everyone. But the real transformation happens at the individual level," said Robert LoCascio, CEO and co-founder of Uare.ai. "We're building intelligence that's as unique as a fingerprint. Your Individual AI acts as your second brain - intelligent, contextual, and deeply aligned with your values. It helps you share yourself with the world, connect with others more meaningfully, and even create new ways to monetize your knowledge."
What sets Uare.ai apart is its Human Life Model (HLM), a proprietary framework that encodes an individual's stories, values, voice, and decision making patterns. The technology goes beyond simple response generation. Instead of repeating phrases or guessing at answers, the Individual AI reasons through problems the way its human counterpart would and acknowledges when it lacks sufficient information.
Early users are already testing practical applications. Creators are using the platform to generate content that expands their reach and opens up new revenue opportunities. Consumers can interact with these AI versions through text or voice, and will eventually be able to create their own Individual AIs for self reflection, expression, and personal growth.
The combination of prosumers creating Individual AIs and consumers interacting with them creates a network effect. More creators on the platform mean more AI personalities for users to discover and engage with, which in turn attracts more creators looking to monetize their expertise.
"Individual AIs represent the next frontier in how we interact with technology," said Ed Sim, Founder and General Partner at Boldstart Ventures. "Uare.ai's Human Life Model brings unmatched context and fidelity, creating massive consumer impact by helping people connect, create, and monetize in new ways, while also enabling enterprises to scale knowledge, preserve institutional memory, and extend leadership reach. We're thrilled to back this vision."
"We're witnessing a fundamental shift in AI away from one-size-fits-all models toward deeply personal intelligence," added Navin Chaddha, Managing Partner at Mayfield. " Uare.ai is creating intelligent digital companions that think, speak, and evolve like you while scaling your presence, creativity, and expertise in a truly human-centered way. At Mayfield, we invest in people first and foremost, and we're excited to partner with Rob and the Uare.ai team as they build something revolutionary in the era of personal AI."
Robert LoCascio founded Uare.ai after building and taking LivePerson public, where he pioneered AI powered web chat technology. Before rebranding to Uare.ai, the company operated as Eternos, which focused on AI legacy preservation: helping people create digital versions of themselves for loved ones after their death.
Uare.ai extends that concept into daily life. Rather than preserving memory for future generations, the Individual AI technology is designed to work alongside people now, handling tasks, creating content, and representing them in conversations when they can't be present.
The platform trains exclusively on an individual's personal data, including stories, past decisions, and life experiences. This approach means the AI develops an understanding of context specific to that person rather than relying on generic training data used by most large language models.
Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures led the $10.3 million round, joined by other strategic investors. The company plans to use the capital to build out its team, expand the platform's capabilities, and prepare for the Winter 2025 launch.
Uare.ai has opened a waitlist for early access. The company is positioning its technology for multiple use cases: creators looking to automate content production, professionals wanting to scale their mentorship and expertise, and enterprises seeking to preserve institutional knowledge and extend leadership influence across their organizations.
