Unify, an AI-native platform for go-to-market teams, announced it raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Battery Ventures. The funding comes just nine months after its $12 million Series A. Notable participants include OpenAI Startup Fund, Thrive Capital, Emergence Capital, Abstract Ventures, The Cannon Project, and Capital49.
The investment highlights continued confidence in Unify’s rapid growth, with Battery General Partner Dharmesh Thakker joining the company’s board as part of the deal.
Unify operates in the highly competitive sales and growth technology space, aiming to help teams cut through the noise of digital outreach. Its platform combines AI agents with real-time intent signals to deliver more precise and effective prospecting.
“In today’s extremely competitive sales environment, distribution has become the barrier to success,” said Austin Hughes, co-founder and CEO of Unify. “We believe growth should be a science, not an art.”
The platform helps sales teams find high-intent prospects, personalize outreach at scale, and automate manual tasks. Customers like Perplexity, Cursor, and Together AI have already adopted Unify to build more efficient pipelines.
With this new funding, Unify plans to accelerate product development and deepen its AI capabilities. The company also aims to expand its customer base globally and bring more advanced workflows to go-to-market teams.
Future plans include exploring additional integrations with sales and marketing tools to strengthen its position as a central layer of intelligence in the go-to-market stack.
Founded in 2023, Unify has quickly become a preferred partner for modern sales and growth teams. By uniting prospect data, AI-driven workflows, and email sequencing, it enables companies to generate qualified pipeline at scale.
In just a year, Unify has grown its revenue eightfold and is now used by hundreds of teams worldwide, including Airwallex, Flock Safety, and Perplexity, helping them generate hundreds of millions in sales pipeline.
“Unify drives pipeline directly into our sales team’s inbox,” said Jenny Sung, product marketing lead at Perplexity. “The platform’s intent triggers and touch points give us the opportunity to talk to prospects at the right time.”
This Series B follows Unify’s $12 million Series A from 2023. Alongside lead investor Battery Ventures, the company is supported by OpenAI Startup Fund, Thrive Capital, Emergence Capital, Abstract Ventures, The Cannon Project, and Capital49 — many of whom are known for backing successful technology companies.
“Unify’s approach represents the next evolution in go-to-market technology,” said Dharmesh Thakker of Battery Ventures. “We’re thrilled to back this team as it continues to modernize the GTM process.”
