Uptiq.ai, a company focused on building artificial intelligence infrastructure for the financial services industry, has announced it secured $12 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by Silverton Partners, a firm with a history of backing business-to-business software companies.
The round also saw participation from several other key investors. These include Live Oak Venture Partners, Tau Ventures, First Capital, and Green Visor Capital.
The financial industry is currently under significant pressure to adopt modern AI. However, many banks, wealth management firms, and fintech companies find it difficult to innovate. They are often held back by a combination of older, existing technology systems and strict regulatory requirements.
Uptiq.ai was founded to address this specific challenge. “Every financial institution wants to move faster with AI, but legacy systems and regulatory constraints hold them back,” said Snehal Fulzele, CEO of Uptiq.ai. “Our mission is to make AI innovation composable, compliant, and massively scalable — so every bank, wealth firm, and fintech can build production-grade AI solutions without reinventing their tech stack.”
The company plans to use the new $12 million to drive widespread adoption of its main product, Uptiq Qore. This platform is described as a next-generation AI infrastructure, and a primary goal is making it accessible to financial institutions of all sizes.
To achieve this, Uptiq.ai will expand its distribution network and build more integration partnerships. The funds will also support programs to bring the Qore platform into the financial services mainstream. Longer-term plans include growing its global engineering and research teams and strengthening compliance frameworks for large enterprise customers.
Uptiq.ai has been developing what it calls the "AI Platform for financial services." Its main platform, Uptiq Qore, acts as an intelligent foundation that allows institutions to build and manage AI-powered applications using simple prompts.
The company states this approach can reduce development time from months to just weeks. This process is designed to maintain enterprise-grade governance and compliance. This allows banks, credit unions, and wealth managers to add AI to their lending, advisory, or compliance workflows without having to replace their core systems. According to Uptiq.ai, more than 140 institutions globally already use its platforms.
Investors who participated in the round see a clear need for this specialized technology. They are backing Uptiq's approach to integrating AI responsibly within the highly regulated financial world.
Morgan Flager, Partner at Silverton Partners, commented on the decision. “Uptiq is enabling financial institutions and FinTechs to adopt AI responsibly and rapidly. We’re excited to back a team that understands both the technological and regulatory depth of the industry.”
This view was shared by others. “Uptiq.ai is building the foundational layer for the next generation of AI-native financial systems,” said Venu Shamapant, Partner at Live Oak Venture Partners. “Qore has the potential to redefine how financial products and workflows are built — with speed, precision, and compliance.”
