Zeitview has secured $60 million in fresh funding, led by Climate Investment and supported by existing backers. This round, positioned as the company’s new growth financing, adds to the expanding roster of investors committed to advancing AI-driven solutions for global infrastructure. Climate Investment’s involvement signifies growing confidence in Zeitview’s approach to visual data analytics.
Notable participants include Valor Equity Partners, Union Square Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Euclidean Capital, Energy Transition Ventures, Hearst Ventures, and Y Combinator. While no official valuation has been disclosed, the funding reflects the company’s rapid market progress. By focusing on software that automates inspections and reduces costs, Zeitview continues to draw attention from investors seeking long-term returns in the infrastructure space.
Zeitview operates in a market increasingly defined by extreme weather, shifting energy demands, and the need for robust communication networks. Its solution meets an urgent need for more efficient inspections, especially as skilled labor becomes harder to find and maintenance frequencies rise.
“The critical infrastructure that powers the global economy faces a perfect storm of rising danger, strain and cost,” said Zeitview Founder & CEO Dan Burton. “Zeitview helps the biggest enterprises in critical infrastructure prevent catastrophic failure, assess and predict risk and prioritize maintenance spend.”
With an established track record of inspecting over 200,000 assets in 80 countries by 2024, the company has proven its capacity to handle portfolios spanning solar, wind, utilities, telecom, and property sectors.
Zeitview plans to use this new capital to accelerate its Visual AI roadmap, focusing on features that provide instant insights and predictive capabilities. “With this capital, Zeitview will accelerate our buildout of Visual AI that is instant, predictive and unlimited,” said Burton, “and increase investment in our Insights software platform to support our customers across their critical infrastructure assets, throughout their lifecycle, anywhere in the world.”
This expansion will include further product development, additional analytics capabilities, and stronger automation for inspection workflows.
The company also aims to expand into new geographic markets, tapping into demand for more resilient energy, communication, and facility infrastructure. By leveraging its existing global footprint, Zeitview intends to offer enterprises the ability to manage infrastructure proactively, enhancing both safety and reliability.
Founded by Dan Burton, Zeitview has grown to become a leading provider of AI-driven inspection services. Built on a mission to bring down the cost and complexity of critical asset management, the company offers a single platform that spans multiple infrastructure categories. This approach allows owners of solar farms, wind turbines, utility lines, and properties to rely on Zeitview as a sole partner.
The company’s deep domain expertise in visual data collection and analytics sets it apart. By leveraging aerial imaging and intelligent software, Zeitview’s technology identifies risk factors before they escalate, helping asset managers prioritize maintenance spending.
Climate Investment led the round, with Managing Director Patrick Yip noting: “Climate Investment invests in leading, differentiated decarbonization technologies with multi-sector application across energy-intensive industries. We are excited to be adding Zeitview to this group to support its next stage of growth. The investment will help accelerate deployment of Zeitview’s platform across its current infrastructure categories, while allowing for expansion into new markets through Climate Investment’s unique global network of investors, many of which are already customers.”
Mike Bishop, Investment Director at Climate Investment, will join Zeitview’s Board of Directors. “Infrastructure owners, operators and OEMs need inspection solutions that can serve their entire portfolio – spanning multiple asset types, operating globally and supporting the full asset lifecycle,” he said. “Zeitview uniquely addresses this need through its visual data platform, combining analytics with deep domain expertise to deliver better, faster and more cost-effective asset management solutions.”
The company’s existing investors—Valor Equity Partners, Union Square Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Euclidean Capital, Energy Transition Ventures, Hearst Ventures, and Y Combinator—have also played a significant role in Zeitview’s journey, supporting its evolution from a focused AI startup to a global market player.
