Paris-Based Mobile Gaming Publisher TapNation Secures €15 Million in Funding

Paris-based mobile gaming publisher TapNation, founded by Hervé Montoute and Igor Zabukovec, has taken the gaming world

In the fast-paced world of mobile gaming, Paris-based TapNation has risen to the forefront, earning a coveted spot in the prestigious French Tech 120 for 2023. Now, the company is poised for even greater success with an injection of €15 million in recent funding.

This substantial investment comes from renowned backers, including Re-Sources Capital, Paluel-Marmont Capital, and select banking partners, reaffirming TapNation's status as a global industry heavyweight. The funding aims to expand the company's game portfolio, reinforce its growth strategy, and bolster its technological capabilities.

One of the key drivers behind TapNation's success is its cutting-edge technological platform. This platform streamlines game testing, analyzes player behavior, and identifies promising gameplay elements. Thanks to this innovative approach, TapNation has achieved a remarkable feat – 30 of its games have become global hits, amassing over one billion downloads from various app stores.

Not content with resting on its laurels, TapNation has expanded its horizons by introducing TN Labs, a specialized game development studio. This move aligns perfectly with the company's strategy to diversify its game offerings, especially in the realm of hybrid genres.

The company's remarkable achievements have not gone unnoticed. TapNation has earned a spot among the "Top 20 Worldwide Mobile Game Publishers," and it is a proud participant in the French Tech 120 program, which celebrates French startups with significant global technological potential.

With a dedicated team of fifty experts, TapNation achieved a noteworthy €45 million in revenue in 2022, marking its third consecutive year of profitability.

Hervé Montoute, co-founder and leader of TapNation, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "With this €15 million fundraising, we stand at a pivotal moment in our journey as a mobile game publisher. This investment is a testament to the faith our partners have in our vision and innovation capabilities. It will empower us to explore new horizons in the mobile gaming industry and continue delivering exceptional experiences to our players. We are deeply grateful to our investors for their support, and we can't wait to share our passion for mobile games with the world."
