TVS X Where Electric Innovation Meets Motorcycle-Scooter Fusion, A Global Vision

Chennai-based TVS Motor Company has unveiled its groundbreaking creation, the TVS X, blending scooter and motorcycle elements into an all-electric crossover. Designed by Indian engineers at TVS Motor's R&D facility, this sleek and powerful machine delivers a maximum power output of 11 kW (15 PS) and boasts a torque of 40 Nm, promising impressive performance.

Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, expressed, "This launch marks a defining moment in TVS Motors' journey of showcasing a made-in-India EV, the TVS X," highlighting the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

TVS aims to make a significant global impact with the TVS X, expecting 50% of its revenue to come from international sales within the next three years. The company plans to transition from internal combustion engines (ICE) to all-electric vehicles in the coming years, positioning itself as a global mobility firm with a presence in numerous overseas markets.

Sustainability and rider-machine unity are at the core of the TVS X's development, setting it on a path to become a global benchmark for electric mobility solutions.

- Design Excellence: The TVS X boasts an aerodynamic design, featuring a high-precision cast aluminum alloy frame for enhanced stiffness and durability. Striking lighting elements, including a four-element LED headlamp, complete its sleek appearance.

- Performance Prowess: Prioritizing riders, the TVS X offers exceptional handling and agility. It accelerates from 0-40 kph in just 2.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 105 kph. Advanced safety features like ABS and Hill-Hold ensure a secure ride.

- Advanced Battery Technology: With a high-performance battery pack offering 4.44 kWh of installed capacity energy, the TVS X promises impressive range and supports rapid charging options. Connected Technology: Equipped with a 10.2-inch HD+ TFT touchscreen, the TVS X features the TVS NavPro onboard navigation system, aiding riders in locating charging stations. Personalization options, including themes and widgets, enhance the riding experience.

- Safety and Security: Proactive safety features like crash alerts and live vehicle location sharing prioritize rider security.

Bookings for the TVS X are now open, with deliveries set to begin in November 2023 across 15 Indian cities. The introductory price is INR 2,49,990 (~$30,000), and the first 2,000 buyers will receive a "First Edition" insignia, a concierge service, and a Garmin Smartwatch for an enriched ownership experience.
